Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Guaranteed to top the weekend box office is the animated feature Finding Dory directed by Andrew Stanton and featuring the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton. The film’s original music is composed by Thomas Newman (American Beauty, The Shawshank Redemption, Skyfall) who previously scored Pixar’s original film Finding Nemo. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the end titles song Unforgettable performed by Sia. Also opening wide is the action comedy Central Intelligence directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber and starring Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Amy Ryan, Aaron Paul and Danielle Nicolet. Theodore Shapiro (Ghostbusters, The Devil Wears Prada, Spy, Tropic Thunder) and Ludwig Goransson (Creed, Fruitvale Station, We’re the Millers) have composed the film’s original score.
