Heard & Seen has released a soundtrack album for the New Zealand crime drama series Blue Murder Motel. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Peter van der Fluit (The New Legends of Monkey, Workmates). Blue Murder Motel is created by Kate McDermott & Steven Zanoški and stars Michala Banas, Brett Tucker, Jayden Daniels, Jaime McDermott and Stephanie Tauevihi. The 8-parter follows two married and retiring police detectives who leave the Australian police force to start new lives in New Zealand running a coastal motel, but their escape to paradise is quickly upended by the discovery of a body. The series premiered in New Zealand earlier this year on TVNZ and will make its U.S. debut in the coming months on Acorn TV.
