Danny Elfman will be returning music as the composer for the upcoming sequel Fifty Shades Freed. The film is directed by James Foley (Glengarry Glenn Ross, Confidence) who also helmed this year’s Fifty Shades Darker and stars Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Arielle Kebbel, Kim Basinger, Brant Daugherty and Luke Grimes. The movie continues the story from 2015’s Fifty Shades of Grey and this year’s Fifty Shades Darker, which Elfman also scored. Premiering tonight in the U.S. is the British mini-series Prime Suspect: Tennison executive produced by Rebecca Eaton, Camilla Campbell & Robert Wulff-Cochrane and starring Stefanie Martini, Sam Reid, Blake Harrison, Jessica Gunning and Alun Armstrong. The show’s original music is composed by Carly Paradis (Line of Duty, True Justice). Prime Suspect 1973 is a based on Lynda La Plante’s Tennison novel is a prequel to the original Prime Suspect series and centers around a 22-year-old Jane at the start of her career in 1970s London. Christophe Beck to Return for ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’

Director Peyton Reed confirmed on Twitter that Christophe Beck will be returning to score Marvel Studios’ upcoming sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp. Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michael Peña, David Dastmalchian and T.I. are reprising their roles from the original film. They are joined by Hannah John-Kamen. Alexander Bornstein to Score ‘Incoming’

Alexander Bornstein is set to compose the music for the upcoming sci-fi action thriller Incoming. The film is directed by Eric “Z” Zaragoza and stars Scott Adkins in the lead role. The movie is set on an International Space Station that now serves as a prison and is taken over by the imprisoned terrorists who are turning it into a missile aimed at Moscow. Jorge Saralegui (producer of Queen of the Damned, Showtime & Red Planet) wrote the screenplay based on an original story by himself, as well as the project’s producers Rick Benattar (Shoot ‘Em Up, Ironclad) and Nigel Thomas (The Numbers Station). The track list of the soundtrack album for Matt Reeves’ War for the Planet of the Apes has been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Star Trek, Jurassic World, Doctor Strange, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Lost) who previously scored the director’s Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. The soundtrack will be released next month by Sony Masterworks and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. War for the Planet of the Apes starring Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn, Amiah Miller, Karin Konoval and Terry Notary follows Caesar and his apes as they are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans. The only movie opening nationwide this weekend is the sci-fi action sequel Transformers: The Last Knight directed by Michael Bay and starring Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Laura Haddock, Jerrod Carmichael, Isabela Moner, Peter Cullen and Anthony Hopkins. The film’s original music is composed by Steve Jablonsky (The Island, Deepwater Horizon, Ender’s Game, Desperate Housewives) who scored all previous four movies in the series. Opening in limited release this weekend before expanding nationwide in July is the romantic comedy The Big Sick directed by Michael Showalter, produced by Judd Apatow and starring Kumail Nanjiani, Zoe Kazan, Holly Hunter, Ray Romano and Anupam Kher. Michael Andrews (Bridesmaids, Donnie Darko, Funny People) has composed the film’s original score. The full details of the soundtrack album for Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk have been announced.
