The movie based on the novel by Madeleine L’Engle follows a group of children as they travel through time and visit strange worlds in order to find their missing father, a scientist. Domino Recording Company will release the official soundtrack album for the documentary Rat Film. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dan Deacon (Twixt). The soundtrack will be released on October 13, 2017. The CD and vinyl version is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out a video featurette about the composer’s score after the jump. Rat Film is directed by Theo Anthony and uses the rat – as well as the humans that love them, live with them, and kill them – to explore the history of Baltimore. Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the action sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle directed by Matthew Vaughn and starring Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry, Sir Elton John, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges. The film’s original music is composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, X-Men: First Class, Kong: Skull Island) & Matthew Margeson (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Eddie the Eagle).
