true-memoirsPremiering on Friday, November 11, is the Netflix original movie True Memoirs of an International Assassin directed by Jeff Wadlow and starring Kevin James, Zulay Henao, Andy Garcia, Maurice Compte, Kelen Coleman, Andrew Howard, Rob Riggle, Leonard Earl Howze, Yul Vazquez and Kim Coates. The film’s original music is composed by Ludwig Goransson (CreedCommunityFruitvale StationNew GirlCentral Intelligence). The comedy follows a mild-mannered would-be author who gets mistaken for a killer-for-hire when his fictional novel about an international assassin is published as a true story. The movie will be available to stream on Friday on Netflix.

mech-x4Also premiering on Friday is the sci-fi adventure comedy MECH-X4 created by Steve Marmel and starring Nathaniel Potvin, Raymond Cham, Kamran Lucas, Pearce Joza and Alyssa Jirrels. Tim Wynn (The Starving GamesSuperfast!Warhawk video game) is composing the show’s original music. The series follows a freshman at Bay City High who mysteriously awakens MECH-X4, a giant robot built to defend Bay City against impending doom. spider-manMarvel Studios president confirmed during a Q&A this past week at the University of Southern California (USC) following a screening of Doctor Strange that Michael Giacchino will be scoring the studio’s upcoming feature Spider-Man: Homecoming. The film is directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car) and stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr. The movie follows a young Peter Parker as he begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero. The film is set to be directed by Eric Styles (Relative ValuesTempoThat Good Night) and will star Gérard Depardieu, Axel Milberg and Marianne Sagebrecht. The movie chronicles the life and passionate battles of the iconic German Baroque composer Johann Sebastian Bach. Jeffrey Freedman has written the screenplay and is also producing the project with S. The film starring Jenny Slate, Finn Wittrock, John Turturro, Edie Falco, Jay Duplass and Abby Quinn is set in 1995 Manhattan and follows teenager living with her sister and parents who discovers that her father is having an affair. Robespierre has also co-written the screenplay with Elisabeth Holm who is also producing the OddLot Entertainment and Route One Entertainment production with Gigi Pritzker (Drive, Rabbit Hole, Ender’s Game) and Russell Levine (Talullah, Colossal).
