Mac Quayle confirmed in a recent interview with Score It Magazine that he is scoring the upcoming Netflix original series The Politician. The show is created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk & Ian Brennan (Glee, Scream Queens) and stars Ben Platt, Barbra Streisand, Gwyneth Paltrow, Zoey Deutch, Lucy Boynton, Laura Dreyfuss and Rahne Jones. The comedy revolves around a wealthy young man from Santa Barbara with political aspirations. Murphy, Falchuk & Brennan are also executive producing the Fox 21 Television Studios production. The Politician will premiere in 2019 on Netflix.
Quayle also continues to score the Murphy-produced American Horror Story (currently airing Wednesday nights on FX) and 9-1-1 (new episodes premiering every Monday night on Fox). He will also return to score the fourth and final season of USA’s Mr. Robot, which is set to premiere in 2019.
