Hippocampus has released a new soundtrack album for the French TV series The Bureau (Le Bureau des Légendes). The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fourth season composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Horns, Troy: Fall of a City, Revenge, Planetarium). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples and check out the track list. The composer’s score from the first three seasons has previously been released on two digital albums and a CD version from Music Box Records. ‘Dracula’ & ‘On Deadly Ground’ Deluxe Edition Soundtracks Announced

Varese Sarabande has announced the latest titles in its CD Club series, including a deluxe edition soundtrack for the 1979 horror movie Dracula directed by John Badham and starring Frank Langella, Laurence Olivier, Donald Pleasence and Kate Nelligan. The album features the expanded original score from the film composed and conducted by John Williams (Star Wars, Jaws, Raider of the Lost Ark, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Schindler’s List), including over half an hour of previously unreleased music, as well as a newly-mastered presentation of the originally soundtrack album. Temporary Residence will release a soundtrack album for the indie drama We the Animals. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nick Zammuto. The soundtrack will be released on November 9, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track from the album (Tonight We’ll Go for a Ride) is now already available to download here. We the Animals is co-written and directed by Jeremiah Zagar and stars Evan Rosado, Isaiah Kristian, Josiah Gabriel, Sheila Vand and Raul Castillo. This past week, Hugo de Chaire has recorded his score for the upcoming British family comedy Surviving Christmas. The film is written and directed by James Dearden (screenwriter of Fatal Attraction) and stars Julian Ovenden, Gemma Whelan, Joely Richardson, Michael Landes, Sally Phillips, Ronni Ancona, Patricia Hodge and James Fox. The movie tells the story of two sisters looking to endure the holiday period with their families in their recently deceased parents’ dilapidated country house. Hans Zimmer & Harold Faltermeyer to Score ‘Top Gun: Maverick’

Tom Cruise revealed in a video message at this yesterday’s Hollywood in Vienna concert that Hans Zimmer will be scoring the upcoming action drama Top Gun: Maverick. Hans-Zimmer.com has confirmed that the composer will be collaborating with Harold Faltermeyer who composed the music for Tony Scott’s 1986 original film. Cruise has previously mentioned that Faltermeyer’s music will be featured in the sequel. Top Gun: Maverick is directed by Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion, Tron Legacy) and stars Cruise, alongside Miles Teller, Val Kilmer, Jon Hamm, Ed Harris, Jennifer Connelly, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Charles Parnell, Jay Ellis, Bashir Salahuddin, Danny Ramirez and Monica Barbaro. Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Patriots Day) have composed the film’s original score.
