Sacred Bones Records will release new soundtrack albums for the 2021 & 2022 slasher sequels Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends co-written and directed by David Gordon Green and starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, James Jude Courtney, Judy Greer, Will Patton, Thomas Mann, Anthony Michael Hall, Rohan Campbell and Kyle Richards. The album features the expanded original scores from the second and third installment in Blumhouse’s Halloween trilogy composed by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter & Daniel Davies, including previously unreleased music from. Daniel Davies Scoring Lije Sarki’s ‘Sweet Dreams’
Daniel Davies (Halloween, Halloween Kills, Halloween Ends, Halloween Ends, Firestarter) has recently scored the upcoming sports comedy Sweet Dreams. The film is directed by Lije Sarki (Concrete Kids) and stars Johnny Knoxville, Mo Amer, GaTa, Bobby Lee, Theo Von, Jonnie Park, Brian Van Holt, Shakewell, Erik Anthony Gonzalez, Adam Faison, Beth Grant, Jay Mohr and Kate Upton. The movie follows a man who is forced into rehab at a recovery center, where he reluctantly agrees to coach their misfit softball team of recovering addicts to win a cash prize.
John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter & Daniel Davies Scoring Alex Scharfman’s ‘Death of a Unicorn’
A24 announced today that John Carpenter (Halloween, Assault on Precint 13, The Fog, They Live), Cody Carpenter & Daniel Davies (Halloween Kills, Halloween Ends, Firestarter) have been tapped to score the upcoming comedy Death of a Unicorn. The film marks the directorial debut of producer Alex Scharfman (Resurrection, Blow the Man Down) and stars Jenna Ortega, Paul Rudd, Richard E. Grant, Will Poulter, Téa Leoni, Anthony Carrigan, Jessica Hynes, Sunita Mani and Stephen Park. The movie follows a father and daughter who accidentally hit and kill a unicorn on the way to a weekend retreat, where his billionaire boss seeks to exploit the creature’s miraculous curative properties.
John Carpenter’s ‘Anthology II’ (Movie Themes 1976-1988) Album to Be Released
Sacred Bones Records will a new soundtrack album featuring fourteen themes by director/composer John Carpenter. Anthology II (Movie Themes 1976-1988) includes fourteen classic themes (newly recorded with his regular musical collaborators Cody Carpenter & Daniel Davies) from such films as the first three Halloween movies, Assault on Precint 13, Escape From New York, The Fog, They Live, Big Trouble in Little China and Prince of Darkness. ‘Let There Be Drums!’ Soundtrack Released
Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Let There Be Drums! The album features the film’s original music composed by Sebastian Robertson (Survivors Guide to Prison, Condemned) and Daniel Davies (Halloween, Halloween Kills, Halloween Ends, Firestarter). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Let There Be Drums! is directed by Justin Kreutzmann and centers on the world’s greatest drummers as they reflect on the art of drumming and how it has shaped their lives. The movie features interviews with The Beatles’ Ringo Starr, Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, The Police’s Stewart Copeland, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith, among others.

Sacred Bones Records will release the official soundtrack album for the horror sequel Halloween Ends. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter & Daniel Davies who previously co-scored the 2018 Halloween film and last year’s sequel Halloween Kills. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 14, 2022 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (The Procession) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. Physical versions will be coming out on January 20, 2023 (click here to order the CD and vinyl editions). Halloween Ends is co-written and directed by David Gordon Green and stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, James Jude Courtney, Rohan Campbell, Will Patton and Kyle Richards.
