Daniel Davies (Halloween, Halloween Kills, Halloween Ends, Halloween Ends, Firestarter) has recently scored the upcoming sports comedy Sweet Dreams. The film is directed by Lije Sarki (Concrete Kids) and stars Johnny Knoxville, Mo Amer, GaTa, Bobby Lee, Theo Von, Jonnie Park, Brian Van Holt, Shakewell, Erik Anthony Gonzalez, Adam Faison, Beth Grant, Jay Mohr and Kate Upton. The movie follows a man who is forced into rehab at a recovery center, where he reluctantly agrees to coach their misfit softball team of recovering addicts to win a cash prize. Sarki also co-wrote the screenplay with Eric Gross. He is also producing the project with Ari Basile, Robert Ogden Barnum (Margin Call, Miles Ahead) and Lucas Jarach (Wild Oats, Echo Boomers). Sweet Dreams will be released in select theaters on April 12, 2024 by Paramount Pictures before coming out on VOD the following Tuesday, April 16.
