Hollywood Records will release a new soundtrack album for the South Korean Disney+/Hulu original series Made in Korea. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Cho Young-Wuk (Oldboy, The Handmaiden, Thirst, No Other Choice, Decision to Leave, Lady Vengeance, The Sympathizer, Nine Puzzles, The Little Drummer Girl). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 9 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend following special 70mm presentations last week is the comedy drama Marty Supreme co-written and directed by Josh Safdie and starring Timothée Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Tyler Okonma, Fran Drescher, Kevin O’Leary and Abel Ferrara. Composer Cho Young-wuk is reteaming with director Park Chan-wook on the upcoming South Korean comedy thriller No Other Choice. The film is based on the novel The Ax by Donald Westlake and stars Lee Byung-hun, Son Yejin, Park Hee-soon, Lee Sung-min, Yeom Hye-ran, Cha Seung-won and Yoo Yeon-seok. The movie follows a man who is abruptly laid off by the paper company where he worked tirelessly for many years and grows increasingly desperate in his hunt for new work.

The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Cho Young-Wuk (Oldboy, The Handmaiden, Thirst, The Sympathizer, Decision to Leave, Lady Vengeance, The Little Drummer Girl). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 4 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the title track below. Nine Puzzles is directed by Yoon Jongbin, written by Lee Eunmi and stars Kim Dami, Son Sukku, Kim Sungkyun and Hyun Bongsik. The crime thriller follows a woman who must cooperate with a detective who believes she has killed her uncle a decade earlier to stop a series of murders linked by strange puzzle pieces.

Harbin is co-written and directed by Woo Min-ho and stars Hyun Bin, Park Jeong-min, Jeon Yeo-been, Jo Woo-jin and Lee Dong-wook. The movie is set in 1909, several years after Korea is forced into becoming a Japanese colony, and tells the story of a group of freedom fighters who plot the daring assassination of Japan’s prime minister during their quest for independence.
