Milan Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Austrian TV series Woman of the Dead (Totenfrau). The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Patrick Kirst (The Kissing Booth, Breaking Surface, Inherit the Viper, Grace Stirs Up Success). Also included are songs performed by Vera Weber and Hayal Kaya (who also appears in the series). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 4 and is now available for preorder on Amazon. A first track (Weber’s Rosebud) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. The label has previously released an album featuring Kirst’s score from Season 1 back in 2022. Woman of the Dead is created by Barbara Stepansky, Benito Mueller & Wolfgang Mueller based on Bernhard Aichner’s novels and stars Anna Maria Mühe, Peter Kurth, Britta Hammelstein, Michou Friesz, Robert Palfrader, Yousef Sweid, Dominic Marcus Singer, Gerhard Liebmann, Sabine Timoteo and Lucas Gregorowicz.

Patrick Kirst (Inherit the Viper, Breaking Surface, Grace Stirs Up Success, Convergence) who previously scored the first two installments has composed the movie’s original music. The romantic comedy, which follows Elle as she plans the ultimate bucket list to make the most of her final summer before college, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
‘Breaking Surface’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Urban Republic Records has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish survival thriller Breaking Surface. The album features the film’s original music composed by Patrick Kirst (The Kissing Booth, Inherit the Viper, Grace Stirs Up Success, Convergence). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples, and will also be available in other digital music stores within the next few days. Breaking Surface is written and directed by Joachim Hedén and starring Moa Gammel, Madeleine Martin and Trine Wiggen. The film revolves around two half sisters who go on a winter diving trip in Northern Norway, when they get trapped after a rockslide.

Patrick Kirst to Return for Netflix’s ‘The Kissing Booth 2’
Patrick Kirst is returning as the composer of the upcoming Netflix original film The Kissing Booth 2. The movie is directed by Vince Marcello and stars Joey King, Joel Courtney, Jacob Elordi, Meganne Young, Carson White, Taylor Perez, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Molly Ringwald. The romantic comedy follows Elle Evans after she just had the most romantic summer of her life with her reformed bad-boy boyfriend Noah Flynn and heads back to high school for her senior year. Marcello also co-wrote the screenplay with Jay Arnold based on characters from Beth Reekles’ 2012 young adult book. He is also producing the Komixx Entertainment production with Michele Weisler (Try Seventeen), Andrew Cole-Bulgin and Edward Glauser.

Patrick Kirst Scoring ‘Inherit the Viper’
Patrick Kirst (The Kissing Booth, Rigged) has recently recorded his score for the upcoming crime thriller Inherit the Viper. The film is directed by Anthony Jerjen and stars Josh Hartnett, Margarita Levieva, Bruce Dern, Owen Teague, Valorie Curry, Chandler Riggs and Dash Mihok. The movie is set set in West Virginia and follows three siblings as they try to escape the spiral of violence that has held them captive since their father’s passing. Andrew Crabtree wrote the screenplay.
