Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Impractical Jokers: The Movie) have recently scored the new Quibi original series Die Hart. The show is created by Tripper Clancy (Stuber) & Derek Kolstad (John Wick series) and stars Kevin Hart as a fictionalized version of himself who’s tired of being the comedic sidekick and gets his wish when a famous director offers him his dream – to be a leading man action star. John Travolta, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jean Reno and Josh Hartnett are co-starring. Eric Appel has directed the action comedy. Jeff Clanagan, Candice Wilson and Bryan Smiley are producing the project and Hart serves as an executive producer. Birenberg has previously scored the Appel-produced Fox comedy Son of Zorn. Die Hart will premiere on July 20, 2020 exclusively on Quibi.
Birenberg & Robinson have also recently co-scored the third season of Cobra Kai, which is expected to premiere later this year on Netflix. Birenberg also has the Disney+ original film Secret Society of Second-Born Royals coming up.
