Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:

Opening in most theaters is the animated sequel Frozen II directed by Chris Buck & Jennifer Lee and starring Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad. Christophe Beck (Ant-Man, The Muppets, Edge of Tomorrow) has composed the film’s original score and Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez have composed the original songs. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs, as well as a deluxe edition featuring both songs and score. Click here for more information.

Also opening wide is the biographical drama A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood directed by Marielle Heller and starring Tom Hanks, Matthew Rhys, Susan Kelechi Watson and Chris Cooper. The film’s original music is composed by Nate Heller (Can You Ever Forgive Me?, The Diary of a Teenage Girl). ‘Dark Waters’ Soundtrack Details

Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the drama Dark Waters. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marcelo Zarvos (Wonder, Fences, The Affair, The Good Shepherd, Ray Donovan, Enough Said). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 22 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Dark Waters is directed by Todd Haynes and stars Mark Ruffalo, Anne Hathaway, Tim Robbins, Bill Camp, Victor Garber, Mare Winningham, William Jackson Harper and Bill Pullman. The movie tells the story of an attorney as he uncovers a dark secret that connects a growing number of unexplained deaths due to one of the world’s largest corporations.

Marcelo Zarvos Scoring Marc Meyers’ ‘Human Capital’

Marcelo Zarvos (Wonder, Fences, The Good Shepherd, Enough Said) is scoring the upcoming drama Human Capital. The film is directed by Marc Meyers (My Friend Dahmer) and stars Liev Schreiber, Marisa Tomei, Peter Sarsgaard, Maya Hawke, Alex Wolff, Paul Sparks, Aasif Mandvi and Fred Hechinger. The movie is based on Paolo Virzi’s 2014 Italian drama of the same title and centers on two families whose lives become fatefully intertwined following an impulsive business deal and a tragic hit-and-run accident.

The only movie opening nationwide this weekend is the Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw directed by David Leitch and starring Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby and Helen Mirren. The film’s original score is composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2, John Wick, 300). Back Lot Music has released two soundtrack album for the movie, featuring the composer’s score (click here for the full album details) and the songs from the movie (click here for more information).

Opening in limited release is the psychological thriller Luce directed by Julius Onah and starring Kelvin Harrison Jr., Naomi Watts, Octavia Spencer and Tim Roth. Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow (Annihilation, Ex Machina, Hanna, Free Fire) have composed the film’s original score. Lakeshore Records & Invada Records have released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score. Premiering tonight is the Showtime limited series The Loudest Voice developed by Tom McCarthy & Gabriel Sherman and starring Russell Crowe as Roger Ailes, Naomi Watts, Sienna Miller, Seth MacFarlane, Simon McBurney and Annabelle Wallis. The show’s original music is composed by Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, Wonder, The Good Shepherd, Enough Said, The Affair, Ray Donovan). Also premiering tonight is the new Starz original series The Rook developed by Al Blyth & Sam Holcroft based on Daniel O’Malley’s novel of the same title and starring Emma Greenwell, Olivia Munn, Jon Fletcher, Joely Richardson and Adrian Lester. Nathan Barr (True Blood, The Americans, The House with a Clock in Its Walls, Hostel, Cabin Fever) is composing the show’s original score. Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, Wonder, The Good Shepherd, Enough Said) is composing the original music for the upcoming Showtime limited series The Loudest Voice. The show is based on the bestselling book The Loudest Voice in the Room by Gabriel Sherman and stars Russell Crowe as Roger Ailes, Naomi Watts, Sienna Miller, Seth MacFarlane, Simon McBurney and Annabelle Wallis. The 7-part drama explores how Ailes became the Republican Party’s de facto leader, while touching on the sexual harassment accusations that brought his Fox News reign to an end.

Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the HBO Sports documentary What’s My Name – Muhammad Ali. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marcelo Zarvos (Wonder, Fences, The Good Shepherd, Enough Said, The Affair). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 17 and will be available to download here. What’s My Name – Muhammad Ali is directed by Antoine Fuqua, executive produced by LeBron James & Maverick Carter and explores Ali’s greatest triumphs and comebacks, painting an intimate portrait of a man who, against all odds, dreamed and achieved the impossible.
