As there are currently no new major movies opening in theaters, the weekly film music roundup will feature notable titles that were set to receive a theatrical release and are instead being released on VOD over the next couple of weeks. Movies that are premiering exclusively on streaming services will keep being included in our weekly TV music roundup every Sunday.
Opening on VOD following its debut on DirecTV last month is the drama Human Capital directed by Marc Meyers, written by Oren Moverman and starring Liev Schreiber, Marisa Tomei, Peter Sarsgaard, Maya Hawke, Alex Wolff, Paul Sparks, Aasif Mandvi and Fred Hechinger. The film’s original music is composed by Marcelo Zarvos (Wonder, Fences, The Good Shepherd, The Affair, Ray Donovan, Enough Said). No word on a soundtrack release. Check out our scoring assignment announcement for more information about the movie, which is being released by Vertical Entertainment.
