Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, Dog Man, Early Man, Knuckles, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Reminders of Him. Daisy Jones & the Six, Parenthood, Book Club: The New Chapter) has composed the original score for Warner Bros. Pictures Animation’s new short Daffy Season. The Looney Tunes short film is directed by Todd Wilderman & Hamish Grieve (Rumble) and follows the title character as he gets ready for Duck Season, but Elmer is too immersed in his new obsession – soccer – to come hunting. Slowly the world around Daffy turns into a zombie-esque nightmare as the Tunes become obsessed with the sport. Grieve & Wilderman also co-wrote the screenplay with Jenny Jaffe. Slagle Rogers is producing the project. Daffy Season will be released in theaters nationwide in front of Warner Bros. Pictures Animation’s first feature The Cat in the Hat this Friday, November 6.
Howe also continues to score Prime Video’s Elle and Every Year After, which both have been renewed for a second season.
