Premiering on Tuesday, February 11, is the Netflix original anime film The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep directed by Kang Hei Chul and starring Doug Cockle, Joey Batey, Anya Chalotra and Christina Wren. The movie’s original music is composed by Joseph Trapanese (The Witcher, Oblivion, Shadow and Bone, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman, The Raid: Redemption, Project Power). A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score will be announced soon. Premiering on Wednesday, February 12, is the Disney+ original documentary series Harlem Ice directed by Samantha Knowles and executive produced by Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Sara Bernstein, Geeta Gandbhir, Meredith Kaulfers, Robin Roberts and Justin Wilkes. Sami Jano (Dads, We Feed People) & James Jano have composed the show’s original music. The 5-parter, which follows the coaches and girls of Figure Skating in Harlem as they prepare for performances, competitions, and a life-changing global experience, will be available to stream exclusively on Disney+.

Joseph Trapanese Scoring Netflix’s ‘The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep’

Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Shadow and Bone, Straight Outta Compton, The Witcher, The Greatest Showman,  Project Power, The Raid: Redemption) has provided the original score for the upcoming Netflix original anime film The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep. The movie is directed by Kang Hei Chul and features the voices of Doug Cockle, Joey Batey, Anya Chalotra and Christina Wren. The Studio MIR production follows Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster hunter, as he is hired to investigate a series of attacks in a seaside village and finds himself drawn into a centuries-old conflict between humans and merpeople.

Premiering tonight is the new CBS drama Matlock developed by Jennie Snyder Urman inspired by the classic 80s/90s series of the same name and starring Kathy Bates, Skye P. Marshall, Jason Ritter, Leah Lewis and David Del Rio. The show’s original music is composed by Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Wrestlers, Twisted Metal, Fright Krewe, Obliterated, Good Sam, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Florida Man). Also premiering tonight is the FOX drama Rescue: HI-Surf created by Matt Kester and starring Robbie Magasiva, Arielle Kebbel, Adam Demos, Zoe Cipres, Alex Aiono and Kekoa Kekumano. CJ Mirra (A Banquet, Make or Break, Kidnapped, Nascondino) is composing the show’s original music. Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, The Witcher, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman, The Raid: Redemption, Project Power) is the composer of the new NBC drama Brilliant Minds. The show is created by Michael Grassi (Riverdale, Katy Keene) and stars Zachary Quinto, Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Aury Krebs, Alex MacNicoll, Spence Moore II, Teddy Sears and Donna Murphy. The medical drama is inspired by the life and work of author and physician Oliver Sacks and follows a revolutionary, larger-than-life neurologist and his team of interns as they explore the last great frontier – the human mind – while grappling with their own relationships and mental health.

Zhu & Joseph Trapanese to Score Drew Kirsch’s ‘He Bled Neon’

Deadline is reporting that Grammy Award-nominated electronic music artist Zhu and composer Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Only the Brave, The Greatest Showman, Straight Outta Compton, Shadow and Bone, Tron: Uprising, No One Will Save You) are attached to score the upcoming action thriller He Bled Neon. The film marks the feature directorial debut of music video filmmaker Drew Kirsch and will star Joe Cole as a man who – after the mysterious death of his estranged brother – travels to Las Vegas for the funeral and unravels a dark web of crime, forcing him to confront his past. Tim Cairo and Jake Gibson (Lowlife) wrote the screenplay based on original story by Nate Bolotin.

Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Scott Pilgrim Takes Off’ to Be Released

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original anime series Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. The album features the show’s original music composed by the rock band Anamanaguchi (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game) and Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, The Witcher, Straight Outta Compton, Shadow and Bone, The Greatest Showman).  Also included are several songs by Scott’s fictional indie rock band Sex Bob-Omb, Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton’s I Will Remember You & more The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 17. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the album. A vinyl edition will be coming out next year and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is developed by Bryan Lee O’Malley & BenDavid Grabinski based on O’Malley’s graphic novels and features the voices of Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Satya Bhabha, Brie Larson, Chris Evans, Brandon Routh, Alison Pill, Aubrey Plaza, Jason Schwartzman, Mark Weber, Mae Whitman, Johnny Simmons and Ellen Wong.

Making its linear debut tonight is the Showtime original series The Curse created by Benny Safdie & Nathan Fielder and starring Emma Stone, Fielder and Safdie. The show’s original music is composed John Medeski and executive produced by Daniel Lopatin (Uncut Gems, Good Time). Milan Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the score this coming Friday, November 17. The comedy premiered this past Friday on Paramount+ with Showtime and will air every Sunday night on Showtime.

Also premiering today is the MGM+ original series Beacon 23 created by Zak Penn based on Hugh Howey’s best-selling book and starring Lean Headey and Stephan James. William Marriott has composed the show’s original score. Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Pacific Rim, Westworld, Iron Man, House of the Dragon, Eternals) has contributed the theme and also serves as the project’s music producer. Premiering in the U.S. is the British limited series The Gold written by Neil Forsyth and starring Hugh Bonneville, Jack Lowden, Tom Cullen, Dominic Cooper, Charlotte Spencer, Emun Elliott, Sean Harris, Stefanie Martini and Ellora Torchia. The show’s original music is composed by Simon Goff. Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this year when the drama premiered in the UK on BBC One. Premiering on Tuesday, September 19, is the Netflix original documentary The Saint of Second Chances directed by Morgan Neville and narrated by Jeff Daniels. Daniel Wohl (Project Blue Book, On the Come Up, The Weekend Away, Tales of the Walking Dead, Search Party, They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead) has composed the film’s original score. The movie, which follows Mike Veeck on his journey to redeem himself after he blew up the career of his hustler father, Hall of Fame baseball owner Bill Veeck, premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

‘The Witcher’ Season 3 (Vol. 2) Soundtrack Album Details

The track list of the second soundtrack album for the third season of the Netflix original series The Witcher has been revealed. The album features the original score from Season 3 composed by Joseph Trapanese (Shadow and Bone, Oblivion, The Greatest Showman, Lady and the Tramp, Straight Outta Compton), as well as the vocal songs Extraordinary Things, Enchanted Flowers & The Ride of the Witcher performed by Joey Batey and A Little Sacrifice by Freya Allen. The label has previously released the Volume 1 soundtrack featuring music from the first part of the third season last month.
