Deadline is reporting that Grammy Award-nominated electronic music artist Zhu and composer Joseph Trapanese (OblivionOnly the Brave, The Greatest Showman, Straight Outta ComptonShadow and Bone, Tron: Uprising, No One Will Save You) are attached to score the upcoming action thriller He Bled Neon. The film marks the feature directorial debut of music video filmmaker Drew Kirsch and will star Joe Cole as a man who – after the mysterious death of his estranged brother – travels to Las Vegas for the funeral and unravels a dark web of crime, forcing him to confront his past. Tim Cairo and Jake Gibson (Lowlife) wrote the screenplay based on original story by Nate Bolotin. The project is produced by XYZ Films and Two & Two Pictures. No production start date has been announced yet for He Bled Neon.

Trapanese is also expected to return to score the fourth season of Netflix’s The Witcher.
