The full details of the first soundtrack album for the third season of the Netflix original series The Witcher have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the first part of the new season composed by Joseph Trapanese (Shadow and Bone, Oblivion, Lady and the Tramp, The Greatest Showman, Straight Outta Compton, Project Power). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Thursday, June 29 by Milan Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first score track (A Time of Contempt) is already available to stream/download now and can also be checked out below. A first song (The Ride of the Witcher) from the new season was released earlier this month.

First Track from ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Soundtrack Released
Milan Records has released the first track from the soundtrack for the third season of the Netflix original series The Witcher. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is The Ride of the Witcher by the show’s composer Joseph Trapanese (Shadow and Bone, Oblivion, The Greatest Showman) and performed by actor Joey Batey feat. Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Skull Island’ to Be Released
Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix animated series Skull Island. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jason Lazarus (Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans, Phantom Halo, Are You Afraid of the Dark?) & Joseph Trapanese (Shadow & Bone, Oblivion, The Witcher, The Greatest Showman). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 23 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Skull Island is created by Brian Duffield and features the voice talent of Nicolas Cantu, Darren Barnet, Mae Whitman, Betty Gilpin and Benjamin Bratt. The Legendary Television production follows a team of explorers shipwrecked in the South Pacific as they encounter a menagerie of fearsome creatures, including the giant ape who rules the island: Kong.

The show is created by Brian Duffield (Love and Monsters, Cocaine Bear) and stars Nicolas Cantu, Darren Barnet, Mae Whitman, Benjamin Bratt and Betty Gilpin. The animated fantasy adventure follows a group of explorers who are shipwrecked in the South Pacific and encounter a menagerie of fearsome creatures, including the giant ape who rules the island: Kong.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is Disney’s live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid directed by Rob Marshall and starring Halle Bailey, Jonah Hauer-King, Melissa McCarthy, Javier Bardem, Jacob Tremblay, Daveed Diggs and Awkwafina. The film’s original score is composed by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Enchanted) and the movie’s songs are written by Menken, Howard Ashman and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The 2-track single features the ride’s music based on Daft Punk’s TRON: Legacy score, produced and arranged by Joseph Trapanese (The Greatest Showman, Shadow and Bone, Oblivion, Straight Outta Compton, The Witcher) who collaborated with the electronic music duo on their music from the 2010 feature and also composed the score for the animated series TRON: Uprising. Anamanaguchi & Joseph Trapanese to Compose Music for Netflix’s ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’ Anime Series
Netflix and UCP announced today that rock band Anamanaguchi (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game) and Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Shadow and Bone, The Witcher, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman) will score an upcoming anime series based on Edgar Wright’s 2010 feature Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Anamanaguchi will also contribute original songs for the show, which will feature the voices of Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Satya Bhabha, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Brie Larson, Aubrey Plaza, Alison Pill, Brandon Routh, Jason Schwartzman, Johnny Simmons, Mark Webber, Mae Whitman and Ellen Wong who will all reprise their roles from the live-action film.
Joseph Trapanese Scoring Brian Duffield’s ‘No One Will Save You’
Composer Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, The Greatest Showman, Straight Outta Compton, Lady and the Tramp, The Raid: Redemption) is reteaming with writer/director Brian Duffield on the upcoming sci-fi/horror thriller No One Will Save You. The film is written and directed by Duffield (The Babysitter, Love and Monsters) and stars Kaitlyn Dever as an exiled anxiety-ridden homebody who must battle an alien that has found its way into her home. Tim White & Trevor White (King Richard, Ingrid Goes West) and Allan Mandelbaum (Villains) are producing the Star Thrower Entertainment production.
‘Shadow and Bone’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Details
Netflix Music has announced the details of the second soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Shadow and Bone. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, The Witcher, The Greatest Showman, Lady and the Tramp, Straight Outta Compton, The Raid: Redemption). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, March 10 and will be available to stream/download here. A first track (Come Sail Away) is already available to stream/download now. The label has previously released a first album featuring Trapanese’s score from Season 1 back in 2021. Shadow and Bone is developed by Eric Heisserer based on Leigh Bardugo’s novels and stars Jessie Mei Li, Freddy Carter, Archie Renaux, Ben Barnes, Amita Suman, Zoë Wanamaker, Kit Young, Calahan Skogman, Danielle Galligan, Daisy Head, Patrick Gibson, Lewis Tan Jack Wolfe and Anna Leong Brophy.
