Netflix Music has released the first track from the soundtrack for the second season of the Netflix original series Shadow and Bone. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms is Come Sail Away written by the show’s composer Joseph Trapanese (The Witcher, Oblivion, The Greatest Showman, Straight Outta Compton, Lady and the Tramp, The Raid: Redemption, Project Power). ‘Song of the Seven’ from ‘The Witcher: Blood Origin’ Released
Netflix Music has released the Song of the Seven from the Netflix limited series The Witcher: Blood Origin. The track is written by Joey Batey (who stars as Jaskier) & The Witcher Season 2 & 3 composer Joseph Trapanese (Shadow and Bone, Oblivion, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman), with lyrics by series co-creator/executive producer Declan de Barra, and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. ‘America the Beautiful’ Soundtrack Album Details
Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the National Geographic natural history series America the Beautiful. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Shadow and Bone, The Greatest Showman, The Witcher, Lady and the Tramp, Straight Outta Compton, Spiderhead) and features performances from Ojibwe powwow singer Joe Rainey Sr., violinist Lucia Micarelli, Native drum maker and singer Dylan Jennings (Bizhikiins-Young Buffalo), bluesman Leonard “Lowdown” Brown, multiethnic vocal ensemble Tonality led by conductor Alexander Blake. Also included is the main title theme (Quilt of Life) written by Trapanese and S. Carey (drummer and supporting vocalist from Bon Iver) who also produced the track. Joseph Trapanese Scoring Disney+’s National Geographic Series ‘America the Beautiful’
Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, The Greatest Showman, Straight Outta Compton, Lady and the Tramp, Insurgent, The Raid: Redemption) has recently scored the upcoming National Geographic natural history series America the Beautiful. He also co-wrote the project’s theme music with drummer and supporting vocalist from Bon Iver, S. Carey. The 6-parter is directed by Tom Stephens, narrated by Michael B. Jordan and takes viewers on a journey across North America’s most spectacular regions to witness the landscapes of the most diverse land on Earth while showcasing its many unique creatures.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sci-fi action adventure Jurassic World Dominion co-written and directed by Colin Trevorrow and starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Star Trek, The Batman). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score digitally today and a CD version will be coming out later this week. Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the drama The Walk directed by Daniel Adams and starring Justin Chatwin, Terrence Howard, Katie Douglas, Lovie Simone, Anastasiya Mitrunen, Jeremy Piven and Malcolm McDowell. Robert ToTeras (Sugar Rush, He Who Dares) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The 1974-set drama, which follows a Boston Irish cop who is assigned to protect black high school students as they are bused into all-white South Boston High, is being distributed by Vertical Entertainment.

Netflix Music has announced a soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Spiderhead. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Shadow and Bone, The Greatest Showman, The Witcher, Straight Outta Compton, Lady and the Tramp, Only the Brave). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, June 17 and will be available to stream/download here. A vinyl edition is also in the works. Joseph Trapanese Scoring Peter Atencio’s ‘The Machine’
Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Shadow and Bone, The Witcher, The Greatest Showman, Straight Outta Compton, Lady and the Tramp, Arctic, Only the Brave) has composed the original score for the upcoming comedy The Machine. The film is directed by Peter Atencio (Keanu) and stars Bert Kreischer, Mark Hamill, Jess Gabor, Stephanie Kurtzuba and Jimmy Tatro. The movie is inspired by Kreischer’s real-life adventures and subsequent breakout stand-up routine, in which his past catches up with him when he and his father are kidnapped by those he wronged 20 years ago while drunk on a college semester abroad in Russia.
‘To What Remains’ Soundtrack Released
Blue Bonsai Music has released a soundtrack album for the documentary To What Remains. The album features the film’s original score composed by Joseph Trapanese (Shadow and Bone, Oblivion, The Witcher, The Greatest Showman, Straight Outta Compton, Lady and the Tramp). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out audio samples. To What Remains is directed by Chris Woods and centers on Project Recover, a small team of historians, scientists, and military veterans who scour the depths of the ocean and the farthest corners of the earth, to search for and recover the remains of the more than 80,000 Americans missing in action since World War II.

The track list of the new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series The Witcher has been revealed. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Joseph Trapanese (Shadow and Bone, Oblivion, Straight Outta Compton, Lady and the Tramp, The Greatest Showman, Project Power). Also included are three additional vocal tracks performed by actor Joey Batey who plays the role of Jaskier in the series. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 17 by Milan Records. A CD version is set to come out on February 25, 2022 and a vinyl edition will be released on July 29, 2022 (click here to pre-order).
