Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the romantic comedy What Happens Later directed by Meg Ryan and starring David Duchovny and Ryan. The film’s original music is composed by David Boman (Wyrm, Moonshot, Please Hold). Sony Masterworks has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as songs by The Streamline Modernes, Luscious Bandit, The Brentwood Hellows, The Four Words & Sage today. Also opening wide is the thriller The Marsh King’s Daughter directed by Neil Burger and starring Daisy Ridley, Ben Mendelsohn, Garrett Hedlund, Brooklynn Prince, Caren Pistorius and Gil Birmingham. Adam Janota Bzowski (Saint Maud, Black Mirror: Loch Henry, Here Before, Femme) has composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. ‘What Happens Later’ Soundtrack Album Details

Sony Masterworks will release the official soundtrack album for the romantic comedy What Happens Later. The album features the film’s original score composed by David Boman (Moonshot, Wyrm, Please Hold). Also included are five songs from the movie by artists such as The Streamline Modernes, The Brentwood Hellows, Luscious Bandit, Sage and The Four Words. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 3 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. What Happens Later is directed by Meg Ryan and stars Ryan herself and David Duchovny. The movie is based on Steven Dietz’s play Shooting Star and revolves around two ex-lovers who are reunited for the first time since their split decades prior when they find themselves snowed in at an airport overnight.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sci-fi action adventure Jurassic World Dominion co-written and directed by Colin Trevorrow and starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Star Trek, The Batman). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score digitally today and a CD version will be coming out later this week. Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the drama The Walk directed by Daniel Adams and starring Justin Chatwin, Terrence Howard, Katie Douglas, Lovie Simone, Anastasiya Mitrunen, Jeremy Piven and Malcolm McDowell. Robert ToTeras (Sugar Rush, He Who Dares) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The 1974-set drama, which follows a Boston Irish cop who is assigned to protect black high school students as they are bused into all-white South Boston High, is being distributed by Vertical Entertainment.

‘Wyrm’ Soundtrack Released

Endeavor Content & Lakeshore Records have released a soundtrack album for the coming-of-age comedy Wyrm. The album features the film’s original score composed by David Boman (Moonshot, Please Hold). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The composer has previously released an EP featuring the original songs from the movie back in 2019. Wyrm is written and directed by Christopher Winterbauer and stars Theo Taplitz, Lulu Wilson, Sosie Bacon, Natasha Rothwell, Paula Pell, Azure Brandi, Tommy Dewey, Dan Bakkedahl, Rosemarie DeWitt, Lukas Gage and Jenna Ortega. The movie is set in a mid-90s alternate reality and follows a lonely, dinosaur-obsessed youth who struggles to complete his level one sexuality requirement (kissing) and risks being held back and enduring a lifetime of embarrassment.

The show’s original music is composed by Leopold Ross (The Book of Eli, Triple 9, The Defiant Ones, Broken City) & Nick Chuba (Operation Varsity Blues, Dr. Death). Premiering on Wednesday, March 30, is Marvel’s Disney+ original series Moon Knight developed by Jeremy Slater, directed by Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead and starring Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy. Hesham Nazih (The Blue Elephant, Ibrahim Labyad, Born a King, Tito) has composed the show’s original music. WaterTower Music will release the official soundtrack album for the HBO Max original movie Moonshot. The album features the film’s original score composed by David Boman (Wyrm, Please Hold). Also included is the song Nothing Left to Do by Stefan Paul George. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 25 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Moonshot is directed by Christopher Winterbauer and stars Lana Condor, Cole Sprouse, Mason Gooding, Zach Braff, Emily Rudd and Lukas Gage. The sci-fi romantic comedy is set in a future where Mars is terraformed and colonized by the best humanity has to offer and follows two very different college students who wind up joining forces and sneak onboard a space shuttle to the red planet in order to be united with their significant others.
