Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for Marvel Studios Animation’s Disney+ original series Eyes of Wakanda. The album features the show’s original music composed by Hesham Nazih (Moon Knight, Born a King, The Blue Elephant, Ibrahim Labyad, Tito). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 8 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Eyes of Wakanda is developed by Todd Harris and features the voice talent of Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Larry Herron, Adam Gold, Lynn Whitfield, Gary Anthony Williams, Jona Xiao, Jacques Colimon, Steve Toussaint, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Zeke Alton and Anika Noni Rose. The 4-parter follows the adventures of the brave Wakandan War Dogs of the secret organization the Hatut Zeraze throughout history as they must carry out dangerous missions to retrieve Vibranium artifacts lost to the world.

Premiering tomorrow, July 28, is the Hulu original series The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball created by Ben Bocquelet and starring Alkaio Thiele, Hero Hunter, Kinza Syed Khan, Teresa Gallagher and Dan Russell. Xav Clarke (Wolfboy and the Everything Factory, Elliott from Earth, The Heroic Quest of the Valiant Prince Ivandoe) is composing the show’s original music. The sequel to The Amazing World of Gumball produced by Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe follows Gumball Watterson, his brother Darwin, his sister Anais, and the other quirky residents of Elmore on new adventures and will be available to stream in the U.S. exclusively on Hulu.
Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, July 29, is the British TV series Dope Girls developed by Polly Stenham & Alex Warren and starring Julianne Nicholson, Eilidh Fisher, Eliza Scanlen, Umi Myers, Geraldine James, Rory Fleck Bryne, Dustin Demri-Burns, Sebastian Croft, Michael Duke, Ian Bonar, Laura Checkley, Harry Cadby, Priya Kansara, Will Keen, Nabhaan Rizwan and Jordan Kouame. The show’s original music is composed by the experimental vocalist & electronic artist collective NYX. Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the artists’ score earlier this year when the drama premiered in the UK on BBC One. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Hesham Nazih (The Blue Elephant, Ibrahim Labyad, Born a King, Tito). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Wednesday, April 27 by Hollywood Records & Marvel Music and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. The composer’s end titles track has previously been released as a digital single last month. Moon Knight is developed by Jeremy Slater based on the Marvel Comics property and stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, May Calamawy, Karim El Hakim, F. Murray Abraham, Khalid Abdalla, David Ganly, Gaspard Ulliel, Antonia Salib and Ann Akinjirin.

Marvel’s Disney+ Series ‘Moon Knight’ to Feature Music by Hesham Nazih
Hesham Nazih has composed original music for Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ original series Moon Knight. The show marks the first major English language project of the composer who is best known for scoring numerous Egyptian features and TV shows, including The Blue Elephant, Ibrahim Labyad, Tito and Born a King. It has not been confirmed yet whether Nazih is composing the score for all six episodes, but his contribution is believed to be a major part of the show’s music. The 6-part drama is directed by Mohamed Diab (Amira, Clash, Cairo 678) and Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead (The Endless, Synchronic) and stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy.
