Netflix Music will release a new soundtrack album for the streamer’s original series The Witcher. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s fourth season composed by Joseph Trapanese (Shadow and Bone, Oblivion, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman, Lady and the Tramp, The Raid: Redemption, G20) and Max Davidoff-Grey (The Gates, Men Grieving). Also included is the song Shadows of the Night by Half Moon Run. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 31 (click here to stream/download). A limited physical edition (on orange and black marbled vinyl) will be released on December 5 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Milan Records has previously released multiple soundtracks featuring the music from the first three seasons.

Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, The Witcher, Shadow and Bone, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman, The Raid: Redemption, G20) has composed the original score for the upcoming animated musical David. The film is directed by Phil Cunningham & Brent Dawes (Jungle Beat) and stars Phil Wickham as the adult David and actor, dancer, and singer Brandon Engman who voices David as a youth, as well as Brian Stivale as Smauel. The animated family adventure tells the biblical story of David – warrior, poet, shepherd, and eventual king – whose faith and courage changed the course of nations.

Over the last couple of days, Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, The Witcher, The Greatest Showman, Shadow and Bone, Straight Outta Compton, The Raid: Redemption, G20) has been recording his score for the upcoming hybrid adult live-action/animated feature Animal Friends. The film is directed by Peter Atencio (Keanu) and stars Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa, Aubrey Plaza, Dan Levy, Addison Rae, Lil Rel Howery and Ellie Bamber. The comedy follows two fugitive animals as they embark on an adventure across America, healing their friendship while being pursued by an equally “odd-couple” DEA agent and Fish & Wildlife ranger with something to prove.
