La-La Land Records has announced a soundtrack album for the drama The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot. The album features the film’s original music composed by Joe Kraemer (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher, The Way of the Gun, Comrade Detective). The CD version of the album will be available to order later today on the label’s official website and a digital version will be available to download here. The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot is written and directed by Robert D. Krzykowski and stars Sam Elliott, Aidan Turner, Ron Livingston, Caitlin FitzGerald, Larry Miller and Ellar Coltrane. The movie follows Calvin Barr who, decades after serving in World War II and assassinating Adolf Hitler, is contacted to lead the charge on hunting down the fabled Bigfoot who is hidden deep inside the Canadian wilderness.

Joe Kraemer to Score Lucky McKee’s ‘Kindred Spirits’
Joe Kraemer (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher, The Way of the Gun, Comrade Detective) has been tapped to score the upcoming indie thriller Kindred Spirits. The film is directed by Lucky McKee (The Woman, Red, All Cheerleaders Die) and stars Thora Birch, Macon Blair, Sasha Frolova and Caitlin Stasey. The movie revolves around a single mother whose life is turned upside down when her sister comes home after a long unexplained absence. Chris Siverston (Marauders) wrote the screenplay.

Opening in most theaters is the animated sequel The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part directed by Mike Mitchell and starring Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett and Tiffany Haddish. The film’s original score is composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, 21/22 Jump Street, The Royal Tenenbaums). Premiering tonight is the new CBS comedy drama God Friended Me created by Steven Lilien & Bryan Wynbrandt and starring Brandon Micheal Hall, Joe Morton, Suraj Sharma, Violett Beane and Javicia Leslie. The show’s original music is composed by Mike Suby (The Butterfly Effect, The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, Kyle XY). Jones, Jessica ‘Jess Hilarious’ Moore and Sinbad. Derryck ‘Big Tank’ Thornton (My Wife and Kids) is composing the show’s original music. The series, which centers on a newly single father who attempts to make a new start in life on the West Side of Chicago with the assistance of his best friend, younger brother and father, will air Sunday nights on Fox. Soundtrack Album for Amazon’s ‘Comrade Detective’ to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon original series Comrade Detective. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Joe Kraemer (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher, Femme Fatales, The Way of the Gun). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 28 and will be available to download on Amazon. Comrade Detective is created by Brian Gatewood & Alessandro Tanaka and stars Florin Piersic, Jr. and Corneliu Ulici. The show follows the lead characters (voiced by Channing Tatum & Joseph Gordon-Levitt) as are they investigating the murder of a fellow officer and, in the process, unraveling a subversive plot to destroy their country.
‘King Cohen’ Soundtrack to Be Released
La-La Land Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of the documentary King Cohen, which includes the soundtrack album featuring the film’s original music composed by Joe Kraemer (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher, The Way of the Gun) as a bonus disc. The Blu-ray, which is limited to 5000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s website, where you can also listen to audio samples from Kraemer’s score. King Cohen is directed by Steve Mitchell and centers writer, producer, director and creator Larry Cohen (Black Caesar, It’s Alive, Q: The Winged Serpent) and features interviews with Martin Scorsese, J.J. Abrams, John Landis, among others.

Premiering tonight is the Syfy original movie Sharknado 5: Global Swarming directed by Anthony C. Ferrante and starring Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Jena Sims, Cassandra Scerbo, Masiela Lusha, Charo, Olivia Newton-John, Dan Fogler, Clay Aiken, Margaret Cho, Tony Hawk, Greg Louganis, Gilbert Gottfried, Fabio and Bret Michaels. The film’s original music is composed by Christopher Cano & Chris Ridenhour who previously scored the last three installments in the series. No word yet on a soundtrack release. Premiering on Wednesday, August 9, is Viaplay’s series Swedish Dicks created by the Viking Brothers, Andrew Lowery & Peter Settman and starring Peter Stormare & Johan Glans and featuring guest stars including Keanu Reeves, Margaret Cho, Eric Roberts, Anthony LaPaglia and Traci Lords. Anders Niska & Klas Wahl (Blackway, Farang) are composing the show’s original music. The comedy, which follows two unlicensed Swedish private investigators trying to make a living in L.A, will make its premiere in the U.S. on Pop.
Joe Kraemer to Score ‘Iron Fisting’
Joe Kraemer announced on Twitter that he will be scoring the upcoming TV series Iron Fisting. The show is created by Brian Gatewood and Alex Tanaka and follows the exploits of two mismatched buddy cops as they seek to protect Communism and comrades from the evils of Capitalism. The comedy, which is described as “being done as a fake Romanian cop show from the 1980s”, is produced by A24 and Channing Tatum’s Free Association. Gatewood and Tanaka (The Sitter) are also executive producing the project, alongside Rhys Thomas (Staten Island Summer).
