Atlantic Screen Music/Filmtrax will release a soundtrack album for the romantic crime drama Die in a Gunfight. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ian Hultquist (Assassination Nation, Dickinson, Yes, God, Yes, Animals, My Blind Brother, A-X-L). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 16 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music platforms. Die in a Gunfight is directed by Colin Schiffli and stars Diego Boneta, Alexandra Daddario, Justin Chatwin, Wade Allain-Marcus, Billy Crudup, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Travis Fimmel. The movie is set in New York City and follows a young man who falls for the daughter of his father’s nemesis.

‘Dickinson’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Announced
Milan Records has announced the details of the new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Dickinson. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Drum & Lace (The Gospel According to André, Good Girls, The First Monday in May) and Ian Hultquist (Assassination Nation, Animals, My Blind Brother, Yes, God, Yes). Also included is the vocal track Split the Lark performed by actress Ella Hunt. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, January 29 and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released the composer’s score from the first season. Dickinson is created by Alena Smith and stars Hailee Steinfeld, Toby Huss, Jane Krakowski, Anna Baryshnikov, Hunt and Adrian Enscoe.
Ian Hultquist Scoring Collin Schiffli’s ‘Die in a Gunfight’
Ian Hultquist (Assassination Nation, Yes, God, Yes, My Blind Brother, A-X-L) has composed the original music for the upcoming romantic crime drama Die in a Gunfight. The film is directed by Collin Schiffli (All Creatures Here Below) and stars Alexandra Daddario, Diego Boneta, Travis Fimmel, Justin Chatwin and Wade Allain-Marcus. The movie follows a young man who falls for the daughter of his father’s nemesis in New York City. Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari (Ant-Man and the Wasp) wrote the screenplay.

The show’s original music is composed by David Martijn (De Dag, The Twelve). The soundtrack is being released today exclusively on Apple Music/iTunes. Dickinson is created, written and executive produced by Alena Smith and stars Hailee Steinfeld, Jane Krakowski, Toby Huss, Anna Baryshnikov, Ella Hunt and Adrian Enscoe. The show explores the constraints of society, gender, and family from the perspective of rebellious young poet Emily Dickinson.

Little Twig Records has announced a soundtrack album for the HBO documentary I Love You, Now Die: The Commonwealth v. Michelle Carter. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ian Hultquist (Assassination Nation, A-X-L, Animals, My Blind Brother, The Gospel According to André). The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 12, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon and iTunes. I Love You, Now Die is directed by Erin Lee Carr who previously collaborated with Hultquist on numerous projects, including Thought Crimes: the Case of the Cannibal Cop, Mommy Dead & Dearest, and this year’s At the Heart of Gold: Inside the USA Gymnastics Scandal (co-scored by Drum & Lace).
