Siddhartha Khosla has signed on to score the upcoming Hulu limited series Looking for Alaska. The show is based on the novel of the same title by John Green (The Fault in Our Stars, Paper Towns) and stars Kristine Froseth and Charlie Plummer. The drama follows a teenager as he enrolls in boarding school, where falls in love with a girl, and after her unexpected death, he and his close friends attempt to uncover the truth behind her death and make sense of it.

Premiering tomorrow, March 18, is the new ABC drama The Fix created by Elizabeth Craft, Sarah Fain & Marcia Clark and starring Robin Tunney, Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje and Scott Cohen. The show’s original music is composed by Gregory Tripi (Ma, Manhunt: Unabomber, Dark Places, Rememory). Soundtrack Album for ITV’s & Hulu’s ‘Butterfly’ to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the ITV mini-series Butterfly. The album features the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award winners Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein (Stranger Things, Valley of the Boom, Native Son). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 22, 2019 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Butterfly is created by Tony Marchant and stars Anna Friel, Emmett J. Scanlan, Alison Steadman, Sean McGinley and Callum Booth-Ford. The 3-parter centers on the complex relationship between two separated parents and their division in opinion over how to support their youngest child.
Jeff Russo Scoring Hulu’s ‘The Act’
Jeff Russo (Fargo, Legion, Star Trek: Discovery, The Night Of) is the composer of the new Hulu original series The Act. The show is created by Nick Antosca & Michelle Dean based on an original Buzzfeed article by Dean and stars Patricia Arquette, Joey King, Chloë Sevigny, AnnaSophia Robb and Calum Worthy. The first season of the anthology series follows a girl trying to escape the toxic relationship she has with her overprotective mother and opens a Pandora’s box of secrets, one that ultimately leads to murder. Antosca (The Forest) & Dean are also executive producing the project with Greg Shephard and Britton Rizzio (American Ultra).

Premiering tonight is the second season of the Starz original series American Gods based on Neil Gaiman’s fantasy novel and starring Ian McShane, Ricky Whittle, Yetide Badaki, Crispin Glover, Orlando Jones, Dean Winters, Devery Jacobs, Sakina Jaffrey and Kahyun Kim. Premiering tonight is the HBO original documentary Leaving Neverland directed by Dan Reed about Michael Jackson’s long-running relationships with two boys, aged 7 and 10, and their families. The 2-parter’s original music is composed by Chad Hobson (Adulthood, Sket, Offender, Path of Blood). Premiering on Friday, March 8, is the Netflix original movie Juanita directed by Clark Johnson and starring Alfre Woodard, Adam Beach, Blair Underwood and LaTanya Richardson Jackson. The film’s original music is composed by Kevin Lax (The First Purge, Burning Sands). The movie, which follows a mother of three grown children as she searches for hope and healing on an impromptu trip to Paper Moon, Montana, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix. Craig Wedren (Wet Hot American Summer, Role Models, The School of Rock, How to Be a Latin Lover) & Anna Waronker are the composers of the upcoming Hulu original series Shrill. The show is based on Lindy West’s 2016 memoir Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman and stars Aidy Bryant, Lolly Adefope, Luka Jones, Ian Owens, Julia Sweeney and John Cameron Mitchell. The comedy centers on a fat young woman who wants to change her life – but not her body, and is trying to start her career while juggling bad boyfriends, a sick parent, and a perfectionist boss.

The comedy executive produced by Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer & Jorma Taccone of The Lonely Island follows two thirteen-year-old outcasts in the year 2000. The series’ full first season will be available to stream on Friday exclusively on Hulu.
Harry & Rupert Gregson-Williams Team Up to Score Hulu’s ‘Catch-22’
Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, The Martian) and Rupert Gregson-Williams (Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Hacksaw Ridge) are teaming up to score the upcoming Hulu limited series Catch-22. The show is written by Luke Davies (Lion, Beautiful Boy) & David Michôd (Animal Kingdom, The Rover) and stars Christopher Abbott, Kyle Chandler, Hugh Laurie, George Clooney, Giancarlo Giannini, Rafi Gavron, Austin Stowell, Gerran Howell, Pico Alexander and Jay Paulson. The 6-parter is based on Joseph Heller’s novel of the same name and tells the story of the incomparable, artful dodger, Yossarian, a US Air Force bombardier in World War II who is furious because thousands of people he has never met are trying to kill him.
