Joel J Richard (John Wick series, Quantico, Triple Threat) has composed the music for the eleventh episode of the Hulu anthology series Into the Dark. The episode, entitled School Spirit, is directed by Mike Gan (Burn), written by Gan, Patrick Casy & Josh Miller (Sonic the Hedgehog, Dorm Daze) and stars Corey Fogelmanis, Annie Q., Jessi Case, Julian Works, Philip Labes and Hugo Armstrong. The episode follows a group of social outcasts who are stuck in weekend detention and then confronted by the school’s legendary hauntings.

Lesley Barber (Manchester by the Sea, You Can Count On Me, Mansfield Park, The Moth Diaries) has been hired to score the upcoming Hulu original series Four Weddings and a Funeral. The show is developed by Mindy Kaling & Matt Warburton (The Mindy Project) based on the 1994 feature of the same title and stars Zoe Boyle, Nathalie Emmanuel, Guz Khan, Sophia La Porta, Harish Patel, Nikesh Patel, John Reynolds, Rebecca Rittenhouse and Brandon Mychal Smith. The comedy follows four American friends who reunite for a fabulous London wedding, but – after a bombshell at the altar throws their lives into turmoil – they must weather a tumultuous year of romance and heartbreak.

Jimmy LaValle (aka The Album Leaf) has composed the original music for the upcoming comedy The F**k-It List. The film is directed by Michael Duggan (Earth 2) and stars Eli Brown, Peter Facinelli, Madison Iseman, Jerry O’Connell, Camryn Manheim, Marcus Scribner, Karan Brar, Tristan Lake Leabu, Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor, Natalie Zea and Laura Bell Bundy. The movie centers on an exemplary high school senior who launches the F*ck-It List – all the things he wishes he’d done in high school but was too busy or afraid to try.
Hulu’s ‘The Bravest Knight’ to Feature Theme Song by Justin Tranter
Hulu has announced today that Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Justin Tranter has contributed the theme song for the new animated series The Bravest Knight. The show is based on the children’s book The Bravest Knight Who Ever Livedby Daniel Errico and chronicles a young pumpkin farmer’s adventure as he attempts to become the bravest knight who ever lived. The project’s voice cast includes T.R. Knight, Bobby Moynihan, Storm Reid, RuPaul, Christine Baranski, Wanda Sykes, Wilson Cruz, Teri Polo, Steven Weber, Donna Murphy, AJ McLean, Dot-Marie Jones, Maz Jobrani and Chance Hurstfield.
Soundtrack Album for Hulu’s ‘Catch-22’ to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Hulu limited series Catch-22. The album features the show’s original music composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Crown, Hacksaw Ridge) & Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, The Martian, Shrek, Chicken Run). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 17 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. Catch-22 is directed by developed by Luke Davies & David Michôd and stars Christopher Abbott, Kyle Chandler, Hugh Laurie, George Clooney, Giancarlo Giannini, Rafi Gavron, Austin Stowell, Gerran Howell, Pico Alexander and Jay Paulson.
