Craig Wedren (Wet Hot American Summer, Role Models, The School of Rock, How to Be a Latin Lover) & Anna Waronker are the composers of the upcoming Hulu original series Shrill. The show is based on Lindy West’s 2016 memoir Shrill: Notes from a Loud Woman and stars Aidy Bryant, Lolly Adefope, Luka Jones, Ian Owens, Julia Sweeney and John Cameron Mitchell. The comedy centers on a fat young woman who wants to change her life – but not her body, and is trying to start her career while juggling bad boyfriends, a sick parent, and a perfectionist boss. West is also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television production with showrunner Ali Rushfield, Lorne Michaels (Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock), Elizabeth Banks & Max Handelman (Pitch Perfect) and Andrew Singer (Portlandia). Shrill will premiere on March 15, 2019 exclusively on Hulu.

Wedren also continues to score Netflix’s GLOW, which will return for its third season later this year, NBC’s New Amsterdam, which currently airs Tuesday nights and has recently been renewed for a second season, as well as ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat, which currently airs in its fifth season every Friday night.
