Premiering tonight is the new Epix original series Pennyworth developed by Bruno Heller based on DC characters created by Bob Kane & Bill Finger and starring Jack Bannon, Paloma Faith, Ben Aldridge, Hainsley Lloyd Bennett, Ryan Fletcher, Jason Flemyng and Polly Walker. Premiering on Wednesday, July 31, is the spy thriller The Red Sea Diving Resort written and directed by Gideon Raff and starring Chris Evans, Haley Bennett, Michael K. Williams, Michiel Huisman, Alessandro Nivola, Greg Kinnear and Ben Kingsley. Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, The Good Dinosaur, Storks, Capote, Little Miss Sunshine) has composed the film’s original music. Mark Isham to Score Mark Williams’ ‘Honest Thief’

Mark Isham has been hired to score the upcoming crime thriller Honest Thief. The film is directed by Mark Williams (Ozark) and stars Liam Neeson, Kate Walsh, Anthony Ramos, Jai Courtney, Jeffrey Donovan and Jeffrey Wright. The movie centers on a bank robber who tries to turn himself in because he’s falling in love with a woman. Steve Allrich wrote the screenplay. Williams is also producing the project with Tai Duncan (Proud Mary, How It Ends), Myles Nestel & Craig Chapman (Laggies, Wheelman) are producing the project.

‘Perpetual Grace, LTD’ Theme Song Released

Fat Possum Records has released Comet, the official theme song for the new Epix original series Perpetual Grace, LTD. The track is performed by The Jones Sisters (aka series creator Steven Conrad, Bobby Bare Jr, Jim Becker & Brad Jones) and is now available to download as a digital single on Amazon. The documentary details the unprecedented coordination of journalists from around the world working in secret, at great personal risk, to expose the largest data leak in history. The movie received an awards-qualifying theatrical release earlier this month and will air exclusively on Epix.

Soundtrack Album for Epix’s ‘Get Shorty’ to Be Released

Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the Epix original series Get Shorty. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Grammy Award winner and Golden Globe nominee Antonio Sanchez (Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)). The soundtrack will be released this Friday, January 26 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Get Shorty is created by Davey Holmes inspired by Elmore Leonard’s 1990 bestselling thriller comedy novel and stars Chris O’Dowd, Ray Romano, Sean Bridgers, Megan Stevenson, Goya Robles, Lucy Walters, Sarah Stiles, Antwone Tanner and Carolyn Dodd.
