Dragon’s Domain Records has announced a new soundtrack album featuring two previously unreleased scores composed by Academy Award nominee Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Tombstone, Rescuers Down Under, Young Sherlock Holmes, The Miracle on 42nd Street, Homeward Bound, Lost in Space). The album includes the composer’s score for the 1982 CBS movie One Shoe Makes It Murder directed by William Hale and starring Robert Mitchum & Angie Dickinson, as well as his music for the 1981 television movie Killjoy directed by John Llewellyn Moxey and starring Kim Basinger, Robert Culp, Stephen Macht, John Rubenstein & Nancy Marchand. The Bruce Broughton Collection – Volume 1 is now available to order as a limited CD edition on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio clips and find out more about the soundtrack. A digital version is also expected.

Kevin Kiner Scoring CBS’ ‘NCIS: Origins’
Kevin Kiner (Ahsoka, Narcos: Mexico, Star Wars: The Clone Wars & The Bad Batch, CSI: Miami, Making a Murderer, Doom Patrol, Hell on Wheels) is the composer of the new CBS drama NCIS: Origins. The prequel to the original NCIS series (which launched in 2003 and is currently being scored by Brian Kirk) is narrated by Mark Harmon and stars Austin Stowell, Kyle Schmid, Mariel Molino, Tyla Abercrumbie and Diany Rodriguez. The series follows a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs in 1991, years prior to the events of NCIS as he starts his career as a newly minted special agent at the fledgling NCIS Camp Pendleton office, where he forges his place on a gritty ragtag team.

Premiering tonight is the new CBS drama Matlock developed by Jennie Snyder Urman inspired by the classic 80s/90s series of the same name and starring Kathy Bates, Skye P. Marshall, Jason Ritter, Leah Lewis and David Del Rio. The show’s original music is composed by Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Wrestlers, Twisted Metal, Fright Krewe, Obliterated, Good Sam, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Florida Man). Zach Robinson Scoring CBS’ ‘Matlock’ Reboot
Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Wrestlers, Obliterated, Fright Krewe, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Florida Man) has been tapped to score the upcoming CBS drama Matlock. The show is developed by Jennie Snyder Urman (Jane the Virgin, Charmed) inspired by the classic 80s/90s series of the same title and stars Kathy Bates in the title role of Madeline “Matty” Matlock, Skye P. Marshall, Jason Ritter, David Del Rio and Leah Lewis. The series follows the title character who, after achieving success in her younger years, decides to rejoin the workforce at a prestigious law firm where she uses her unassuming demeanor and wily tactics to win cases and expose corruption from within.
‘Samaritan: The Mitch Snyder Story’ Soundtrack Album Announced

David Buckley Scoring CBS’ ‘Elsbeth’ Pilot
David Buckley (Nobody, Papillon, Angel Has Fallen, The Forbidden Kingdom, Kandahar) is returning to score the new CBS drama Elsbeth. The composer has scored the pilot episode of the show created by Robert & Michelle King and starring Carrie Preston who reprises her role of Elsbeth Tascioni from the network’s The Good Wife and its spinoff The Good Fight, as well as Wendell Pierce, Carra Patterson and guest star Stephen Moyer. Siddhartha Khosla (This Is Us, Only Murders in the Building) is scoring the rest of the season, which follows the title character, an unconventional attorney who utilizes her singular point of view to make unique observations who – after leaving her successful legal career in Chicago – takes on a new investigative role in New York City.
Soundtrack Album for CBS’ ‘Fire Country’ to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release the first soundtrack album for the CBS drama Fire Country. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s first season composed by Fil Eisler (Outer Banks, Revenge, Empire, Thunder Force, UnReal, The Titan, Fast Charlie, Superintelligence). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 23 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Fire Country is is created by Max Thieriot, Joan Rater & Tony Phelan and stars Thieriot himself, Kevin Alejandro, Stephanie Arcila, Jordan Calloway, Diane Farr, Jules Latimer and Billy Burke. The series follows a young convict seeking redemption and a shortened prison sentence by joining a prison release firefighting program in Northern California.

Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, John Wick, Deadpool 2, Watchmen, 300, The Punisher, X) is scoring the new CBS drama Tracker. The show is developed by Ben Winters based on the bestselling novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver and stars Justin Hartley, Fiona Rene, Robin Weigert, Abby McEnany and Eric Graise. The series revolves around a lone-wolf survivalist who roams the country as a reward seeker, using his tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family.
