Glassnote Records will release the soundtrack album for the heist thriller Now You See Me. The soundtrack features the film’s original score composed by Brian Tyler (Iron Man 3, Fast Five, The Expendables). Also included is Two Door Cinema Club’s Sun, Phoenix’s Entertainment and a remix of Tyler’s score by Robert DeLong. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 28, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. Now You See Me is directed by Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk, Clash of the Titans) and stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Isla Fisher, Melanie Laurent, Woody Harrelson, Michael Kelly, Dave Franco and Common. The film about “The Four Horsemen,” a super-team of the world’s greatest illusionists will be released nationwide on June 7, 2013 by Summit Entertainment/Lionsgate.

Varèse Sarabande’s 35th Anniversary Celebration
On Saturday night, film music label Varèse Sarabande hosted their 35th Anniversary Concert Gala at the Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro, California. The sold out concert was hosted and produced by Varese Sarabande’s Robert Townson and performed by the Golden State Pops Orchestra (GSPO) and Chorale. The event featured a special guest performance by Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer who performed a suite from Driving Miss Daisy on piano featuring Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger and violinist Ann Marie Calhoun. The suite also included a preview from the composer’s score for the upcoming Superman reboot Man of Steel. Additionally, Academy Award-winner Michael Giacchino (Up) conducted the world premiere of a special suite from his score for Star Trek Into Darkness and John Powell (The Bourne Trilogy) conducted a suite from his Oscar-nominated score for Dreamworks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon.

Opening in limited release is the romantic comedy Love Is All You Need co-written and directed by Susanne Bier and starring Pierce Brosnan, Trine Dyrholm, Sebastian Jessen, Molly Blixt Egelind, Paprika Steen, Kim Bodnia and Christiane Schaumburg-Muller. The film’s original score is composed by Johan Soderqvist who has previously collaborated with the director on such films as After the Wedding and Brothers. Brian Tyler to Score ‘Sleepy Hollow’ and ‘Hatfields & McCoys’ Pilots
Brian Tyler has signed on to score the pilot for the Fox drama Sleepy Hollow. The show is created by Alex Kurtzman & Bob Orci (Star Trek, Transformers) and Phillip Iscove and stars Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie, Orlando Jones, John Cho and Katia Winter. The supernatural thriller is based on The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow and follows Ichabod Crane as he partners with Sleepy Hollow’s Detective Abbie Archer to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil. Len Wiseman (Live Free or Die Hard, Underworld) has directed the pilot. Kurtzman & Orci are producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Wiseman and Heather Kadin. Tyler has previously collaborated with Kurtzman & Orci on the TV shows Hawaii Five-O, Transformers Prime and the feature Eagle Eye.
‘Iron Man 3’ Soundtrack Details
Hollywood Records will release the original motion picture soundtrack for Marvel’s Iron Man 3. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Brian Tyler (Eagle Eye, Fast Five, The Expendables). The soundtrack will be released on April 30, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out the full track list after the jump. As previously reported, the label will also release a soundtrack featuring songs from and inspired by the film on the same day. Brian Tyler has taken over scoring duties on the upcoming heist thriller Now You See Me. The movie is helmed by Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk, The Transporter) and stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Isla Fisher, Melanie Laurent, Woody Harrelson, Michael Kelly, Dave Franco and Common. The thriller pits an elite FBI squad in a game of cat and mouse against “The Four Horsemen,” a super-team of the world’s greatest illusionists. Boaz Yakin & Edward Ricour have written the screenplay and Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci are producing the project. Tyler has previously collaborated with Kurtzman & Orci on the feature Eagle Eye and the TV shows Hawaii Five-0 and Transformers: Prime.
‘John Dies at the End’ Soundtrack Details
La-La Land Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the horror satire John Dies at the End. The album features the film’s original score composed by Brian Tyler (The Expendables, Eagle Eye, Fast Five). The soundtrack is limited to 3000 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio clips. John Dies at the End is directed by Don Coscarelli and stars Paul Giamatti, Chase Williamson, Rob Mayes, Clancy Brown, Glynn Turman, Doug Jones, Daniel Roebuck, Jonny Weston and Fabianne Therese. Tyler has previously scored the director’s last feature Bubba Ho-Tep. The movie premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival and was released on VOD and in select theaters a couple of weeks ago by Magnolia Pictures’ Magnet Releasing.

Brian Tyler to Score ‘Iron Man 3’
Brian Tyler has signed on to score Iron Man 3. The film is directed by Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang). Robert Downey Jr. returns as Tony Stark/Iron Man, along with Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Paul Bettany who are reprising their characters from the previous film. Ben Kingsley stars as the film’s villain The Mandarin and Rebecca Hall, Guy Pearce, James Badge Dale and Ashley Hamilton are also starring. Black has co-written the screenplay with Drew Pearce. Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige (The Avengers, Thor) is producing the third installment in the franchise and Louis D’Esposito, Stan Lee and Charles Newirth are executive producing. Jon Favreau is also executive producing and returns as Happy Hogan.
‘Terra Nova’ Soundtrack Released
La-La Land Records has released a soundtrack album for the sci-fi adventure series Terra Nova. The album features selections from the show’s original score composed by Brian Tyler (Fast Five, Eagle Eye, The Expendables). The composer recorded his score for the full season with a full orchestra. The 2-CD set is limited to 3000 copies and is available to order on the label’s website, where you can also listen to audio clips. Terra Nova executive produced by Brannon Braga and Steven Spielberg and starring Jason O’Mara, Shelly Conn, Stephen Lang, Christine Adams, Allison Miller, Landon Liboiron, Naomi Scott, Rod Hallett and Alana Mansour premiered last fall on FOX. The complete series about a family that travels 85 million years into the past to an Earth of a parallel Universe is now available on DVD.
