Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album for the Disney Junior animated series The Chicken Squad. The album features the original songs from the first episodes of the show composed by Alex Geringas (Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, Arlo the Alligator Boy, Woody Woodpecker) and Mike Himelstein (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Listen to the full main title theme after the jump. The Chicken Squad is developed by Tom Rogers inspired by the children’s book by Doreen Cronin and features the voices of Ramone Hamilton, Gabriella Graves, Maxwell Simkins and Yvette Nicole Brown, as well as recurring and guest stars Tony Hale, Jane Lynch, Melissa Rauch, Sean Giambrone, Jamal Warner, Melissa Villaseñor, Zack Pearlman, Rachel Bloom and Chrissie Fit.

‘Arlo the Alligator Boy’ Soundtrack Album Details
The full details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix animated film Arlo the Alligator Boy have been revealed. The album features the original songs from the movie written by Alex Geringas (Woody Woodpecker, Impractical Jokers, Trolls: The Beat Goes On!) & the film’s director Ryan Crego and performed by cast members including Michael J. Woodard, Mary Lambert, Annie Potts and Vincent Rodriguez III. Also included is a score suite by Geringas. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 16 by Capitol Records. and will be available to stream/download here. A first track (Follow Me Home performed by Mary Lambert & Michael J. Woodard) is already out now (listen to the track and check out the official music video after the jump).

Ceiri Torjussen (The Canal, Jack Goes Home, All Creatures Here Below, Test, Big Ass Spider!) and Jongnic Bontemps (United Skates, The Land, My Name is Pauli Murray, The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel) have composed the original music for the Blumhouse Television production. The 4-part series, which tells the story of Beulah Mae Donald, a Black mother in Alabama, who took down the Ku Klux Klan following the brutal lynching of her son in 1981, will air this and next Sunday on CNN.
Alex Geringas to Compose Score & Songs for Holger Tappe’s & Volker Engel’s ‘Igraine the Brave’
Alex Geringas (Woody Woodpecker, TrollsTopia, Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, Impractical Jokers) is set to compose the original score and write original songs for the upcoming animated fantasy adventure Igraine the Brave. The film directed by Holger Tappe (Animals United, Monster Family) & Volker Engel is based on the novel by Cornelia Funke (Inkheart, The Thief Lord) and follows a young girl who comes from a family of magicians who wants to be a knight than a wielder of magic. When her parents give her a suit of armor on her 12th birthday, she soon gets the chance to demonstrate her bravery.

Premiering tonight is the Showtime docu-series The Reagans directed and executive produced by Matt Tyrnauer about the rise and reign of America’s ultimate power couple, Ronald & Nancy Reagan. The show’s original music is composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The LEGO Batman Movie, His Dark Materials, The Crown, Home, Bad Boys for Life) who previously scored Tyrnauer’s features Studio 54 and Where’s My Roy Cohn?. Premiering on Wednesday, November 18, is the documentary Crazy, Not Insane directed and produced by Alex Gibney about Dr. Dorothy Otnow Lewis, a psychiatrist who has dedicated her career to studying murderers and seeking answers as to why people kill. Will Bates (Unbelievable, Away, I Origins, The Magicians, The Looming Tower, Nightflyers) who has previously scored numerous of Gibney’s documentaries has composed the film’s original music. The movie, which premiered at this year’s Copenhagen International Documentary Festival and also screened at the 2020 Venice Film Festival will debut in the U.S. exclusively on HBO and HBO Max.
Alex Geringas Scoring Peacock’s & Hulu’s ‘TrollsTopia’
Alex Geringas is the composer of DreamWorks Animation’s new Peacock and Hulu original series TrollsTopia. The show is inspired by the studio’s Trolls feature films (scored by Christophe Beck & Theodore Shapiro) and features the voices of Skylar Astin, Amanda Leighton, David Flynn, Ron Funches, Kenan Thompson, Megan Hilty, Jeanine Mason, Kat Graham and Kevin Michael Richardson. The series follows Poppy as she bottles up her endless positivity and invites delegates from every Troll tribe in the forest to live together in harmony in a grand experiment she calls TrollsTopia. Matthew Beans serves as executive producer.
Alex Geringas to Score Netflix’s ‘Arlo the Alligator Boy’ Movie and TV Series
Netflix announced today that Alex Geringas (Woody Woodpecker, Impractical Jokers, Trolls: The Beat Goes On!) is composing the original music for the upcoming animated musical Arlo the Alligator Boy. The film is directed by Ryan Crego and features the voices of Michael J. Woodard, Mary Lambert, Michael “Flea” Balzary, Annie Potts, Tony Hale, Brett Gelman, Jonathan Van Ness, Haley Tju, Jennifer Coolidge and Vincent Rodriguez III. The movie tells the story of a wide-eyed boy, who is half human and half alligator, who learns that he is from New York City and decides to leave his sheltered life in the swamp and search for his long lost father. Blake Lemons will serve as the project’s supervising producer.

DreamWorks has released the original song Chasing Legacy from the Netflix animated series Fast & Furious: Spy Racers. The track is written by Alex Geringas & William J. Fuller, produced by Timbaland, Angel Lopez & Federico Vindver and performed by Shaylin Becton and Tha Vil. The song is now available to stream/download on Amazon. The animated comedy is based on last year’s feature Home (scored by Lorne Balfe) and centers on the friendship between the fearless Tip and overenthusiastic Oh as they navigate the crazily combined human and alien culture they live in. The full first season will be available this Friday on Netflix.
