Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services are the tracks Lament & Fate of the Kingdoms composed by the show’s Emmy Award-winning composer Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Eternals, Pacific Rim, Uncharted, Iron Man). Luca Guadagnino has revealed in a recent interview with Variety that Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Mank, Soul, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) are currently scoring the director’s upcoming romantic sports comedy Challengers. The film starring Zendaya, Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor follows a tennis player-turned-coach who has transformed her husband from a mediocre player into a world-famous Grand Slam champion and makes him play a “Challenger” event, where he finds himself standing across the net from his former best friend. Dynamic Soundtrack Records will release a soundtrack album for the DC animated movie Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons. The album features the film’s original music composed by Kristopher Carter, Michael Mccuistion & Lolita Ritmanis (aka Dynamic Music Partners) (Young Justice, Teen Titans, Justice League, Avengers Assemble, Batman: The Animated Series, Batman: The Brave and the Bold). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 17 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon. Premiering on Tuesday, October 18, is the HBO original documentary Mama’s Boy directed by Laurent Bouzereau and produced by Mickey Liddell, Pete Shilaimon, Steven Shareshian, Darryl Frank & Justin Falvey. The film’s original music is composed by Raphaelle Thibaut (Secrets of the Whales, Introducing, Selma Blair, Fantastic Beasts: A Natural History). The Amblin Television and Playtone production, which centers on the upbringing of Academy Award-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black (Milk) and is based on his 2019 memoir Mama’s Boy: A Story from Our Americas, will air on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.

Premiering on Wednesday, October 19, is the Australian thriller The Stranger directed by Thomas M. Wright and starring Joel Edgerton, Sean Harris, Jada Alberts, Cormac Wright, Steve Mouzakis and Matthew Sunderland. Oliver Coates (Aftersun, Significant Other) has composed the film’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score is in the works. The movie, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, was released theatrically in Australia earlier this month and will be available to stream worldwide on Wednesday on Netflix. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is the new Step Up Main Theme by Ne-Yo (who also stars in the drama as High Water founder Sage Odom) and a score suite by the show’s composers Stephanie Economou (Jupiter’s Legacy, The Chair, Manhunt: Deadly Games) & EmmoLei Sankofa (Horror Noire, Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls). The film is directed by Luke Cormican and features the voices of Brady Noon, Ethan William Childress, Chris Diamantopoulos, Edward Asner, Erica Cerra and Hunter Dillon. The animated feature is based on the second book in Jeff Kinney’s bestselling book series and focuses on Greg Heffley’s complicated relationship with older brother Rodrick, a lazy and undisciplined high school student who spends way too much time practicing with his rock band. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend while also premiering on Peacock today is the slasher sequel Halloween Ends directed by David Gordon Green and starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, Rohan Campbell, Kyle Richards and James Jude Courtney. The film’s original music is composed by John CarpenterCody Carpenter & Daniel Davies (Firestarter) who previously scored 2018’s Halloween and last year’s Halloween Kills. Sacred Bones Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score today. The album features the film’s original music composed by Cho Young-wuk (OldboyThe Handmaiden, The Little Drummer Girl, Lady Vengeance, Thirst) and The Soundtrackings. Decision to Leave is co-written and directed by Park Chan-wook and stars Tang Wei and Park Hae-il.
