Premiering on Thursday, August 13, is the Australian Netflix original series My Brilliant Career developed by Liz Doran based on Miles Franklin’s classic novel of the same title and starring Philippa Northeast, Christopher Chung, Anna Chancellor, Kate Mulvany, Genevieve O’Reilly, Alexander England, Sherry-Lee Watson, Jake Dunn and Miah Madden. The show’s original music is composed by François Tétaz (The Surfer, Wolf Creek, Rogue, Judy & Punch, Hesher, Beast of War, The Portal). Also premiering on Thursday is the Disney Channel original movie Camp Rock 3 directed by Veronica Rodriguez and starring Kevin Jonas, Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Casey Trotter,Lumi Pollack, Hudson Stone, Brooklynn Pitts, Ava Jean, Ella Lucas, Orlando Lucas, Sherry Cola and Maria Canals-Barrera. Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, Dog Man, Reminders of Him, Shrinking, Early Man, Knuckles, Every Year After, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon) has composed the film’s original score. Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie, as well as a score suite on August 14. Premiering on Friday, August 14, is the Netflix original film Don’t Say Good Luck directed by Julia Hart and starring Sunny Sandler, Melanie Lynskey, Max Greenfield, Bebe Neuwirth, Steve Buscemi, Jack Champion, Jon Lovitz, Stephanie Beatriz, Scarlett Estevez and Emma McNulty. The movie’s original music is composed by Yuli (Murder 101) who has made her feature scoring debut on the project.
