Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s documentary series Chimp Empire. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by William Goodchild (Surviving Paradise: A Family Tale, Jago: A Life Underwater, Rise of the Warrior Apes). Chimp Empire is directed by James Reed (My Octopus Teacher), narrated by Mahershala Ali and centers on the largest group of chimpanzees ever discovered who have built a complex society deep in the forest of Ngogo, Uganda, but ambition and neighboring rivals threaten to destabilize their empire. The 4-parter premiered this past April and is now available to stream on Netflix.
