E. Freeman and Timothy Olyphant. The album features the film’s original score composed by BT (The Fast and the Furious, Monster, Driven, Catch and Release, Solace, Under Suspicion). Composer Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man, Free Guy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, WandaVision, The Pink Panther, The Muppets) is reuniting with director Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith) on the XR short Asteroid. The film is directed by Liman, Julina Tatlock & Jed Weintrob (Invisible, Don’t Look Deeper) and stars Hailee Steinfeld, Ron Perlman, Rhenzy Feliz, Freida Pinto, DK Metcalf and Leon Mandel. The action thriller, which is being described as a “180° immersive short film and interactive story extension” made for the launch of Google’s new Android XR platform, follows a group of strangers who take an old Russian Soyuz rocket to mine a near-earth, treasure laden asteroid for a chance at unimaginable wealth.

Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka) (All Quiet on the Western Front, Lion, Adrift, The Old Guard, Hotel Mumbai, Patrick Melrose) has signed on to score the upcoming Amazon original movie Road House. The film is directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Edge of Tomorrow) and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Billy Magnussen, Daniela Melchior, Lukas Gage, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Hannah Love Lanier, B.K. Cannon, Travis Van Winkle, Arturo Castro, Beau Knapp, Dominique Columbus and Bob Menery. The action drama is based on the 1989 feature of the same title (scored by Michael Kamen) and follows former a UFC fighter who takes a job as a bouncer at a rough roadhouse in the Florida Keys and discovers that not everything is as it seems.
‘The Bourne Identity’ Tumescent Edition Soundtrack Album Announced
Varese Sarabande has announced the latest titles in its CD Club series, including a new deluxe soundtrack album for the 2002 action thriller The Bourne Identity directed by Doug Liman and starring Matt Damon, Franka Potente, Clive Owen, Chris Cooper, Brian Cox, Julia Stiles and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. The Tumescent Edition features the expanded original score from film composed by Academy Award nominee John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Happy Feet, Shrek, Bolt, X-Men: The Last Stand, Hancock), including previously unreleased music. The CD, which is limited to 1,500 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples.
T Bone Burnett to Compose Music for Doug Liman’s ‘Everest’
T Bone Burnett (Crazy Heart, Inside Llewyn Davis, True Detective, Walk the Line) is set to compose music for the upcoming adventure drama Everest. The film is directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Edge of Tomorrow) and will star Ewan McGregor, Mark Strong and Sam Heughan. The movie is inspired by the novel Paths of Glory by Jeffrey Archer and tells the true story of English mountaineer George Mallory who took part in the first three British expeditions to climb Mount Everest. Sheldon Turner (Up in the Air, X-Men: First Class) wrote the screenplay. Liman is also producing the project with Jennifer Klein.
‘Chaos Walking’ Soundtrack Album Details
Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the sci-fi action adventure Chaos Walking. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marco Beltrami (Logan, Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, Ford v. Ferrari, A Quiet Place, The Wolverine) & Brandon Roberts (The Twilight Zone, Underwater). Composer John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Happy Feet, X-Men: The Last Stand, Shrek, Chicken Run) is reteaming with director Doug Liman on the upcoming romantic comedy/heist movie Locked Down. The film stars Anne Hathaway and Chiwetel Ejiofor as a couple who find life has other plans when they are stuck at home in a mandatory lockdown and call a truce to attempt a high-risk, high-stakes jewellery heist at one of the world’s most exclusive department store, Harrods. Ben Stiller, Stephen Merchant, Lucy Boynton, Ben Kingsley, Mindy Kaling and Dule Hill are co-starring. Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, Eastern Promises) wrote the screenplay.
