Plaza Mayor Company has released for the French comedy drama The Marching Band (En fanfare). The album features the film’s original music composed by Michel Petrossian (And the Party Goes On). Expanded ‘Out of Africa’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1985 romantic drama Out of Africa directed by Sydney Pollack and starring Robert Redford, Meryl Streep, Klaus Maria Brandauer. The album features the complete original score from the film composed and conducted by John Barry (Dances with Wolves, Goldfinger, Somewhere in Time, Moonraker, Body Heat, Mary, Queen of Scots), including previously unreleased music, as well as alternate tracks and source cues. The composer received his fourth Academy Award for his score for the movie. The CD is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. The show stars Kerrice Brooks, Bella Shepard, George Hawkins, Karim Diané, Zoë Steiner, Tig Notaro, Robert Picardo, as well as Holly Hunter who plays the captain and chancellor of Starfleet Academy. Oded Fehr, Mary Wiseman, Gina Yashere, Paul Giamatti and Tatiana Maslany will appear as guest stars in the sci-fi drama, which follows the adventures of a new class of Starfleet cadets as they come of age in one of the most legendary places in the galaxy. ‘Yellowstone’ Season 5 – Volume 2 Soundtrack Album Details

Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Paramount Network original series Yellowstone. The album features selections of the original music from the second part of the show’s fifth and final season composed by Brian Tyler (Iron Man 3, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Fast & Furious, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Crazy Rich Asians) and Breton Vivian (1883, 1923, Five Feet Apart, Redeeming Love). The Volume 2 soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 6 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released the first volume back back in 2022, as well as three albums featuring the scores from Season 2, Season 3 & Season 4, while Sony Classical has released an album featuring Tyler’s music from Season 1. Waxwork Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1979 sci-fi/horror cult classic Phantasm written and directed by Don Coscarelli and starring Michael Baldwin, Bill Thornbury, Reggie Bannister and Kathy Lester. The album features the premiere release of the film’s complete original score composed by Fred Myrow (Soylent Green, Scarecrow, Hour of the Assassin, Survival Quest) and Malcolm Seagrave, previously unrleased cues from the score recordings sessions, as well as the newly remastered original 1979 score album. The soundtrack, which is being released to coincide with the movie’s 45th anniversary, is now available as a triple LP set on the label’s official website, where you can also find out more information about the release. ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ Soundtrack Album Details

The details of the first soundtrack album from Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King have been revealed. The album features the film’s original songs written by Grammy Award & Tony Award winner and Academy Award nominee Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, Moana, In the Heights, Encanto) and performed by voice cast members including Aaron Pierre, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Anika Noni Rose, Keith David, Tiffany Boone, Mads Mikkelsen, Preston Nyman, Kagiso Lediga, Braelyn Rankins and Theo Somolu. Also included is a track performed by Lebo M who provided additional music and performances to the project. The soundtrack will be released on December 13 by Walt Disney Records. A separate “deluxe edtion” album featuring the songs and the film’s original score composed by Dave Metzger is also expected to come out this month.
