Premiering today is the MGM+ limited series A Tale of Two Cities created by Daniel West based on the classic novel by Charles Dickens and starring Kit Harington, François Civil and Mirren Mack. The show’s original music is composed by Samuel Sim (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, The Bay, The Spanish Princess, Domina, Anne, The Halcyon, A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story, Home Fires). Also premiering today is the PBS Masterpiece limited series Marble Hall Murders created by Anthony Horowitz and starring Lesley Manville, Timothy McMullan, Jamie Blackley, Mark Bonnar, Patricia Hodge, Daniel Cerqueira, Rupert Penry-Jones, Danny Sapani, Harry Lloyd, Anneika Rose and Zubin Varla. Murray Gold (Doctor Who, Gentleman Jack, Dead Ringers, Torchwood,A Very English Scandal, It’s a Sin, Quiz) who previously scored the first two installments in the Susan Ryeland Mysteries trilogy (Magpie Murders & Moonflower Murders) has composed the show’s original music.
