The show’s original music is composed by Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Emma, Wicked Little Letters, The Miniature Wife, Three Women, Vita & Virginia, The Phantom of the Open, Roar). Also premiering on Wednesday is the Netflix original film Why Did I Get Married Again? written and directed by Tyler Perry and starring Perry himself, Taraji P. Henson, Jill Scott, Tasha Smith, Richard T. Jones, Michael Jai White, Lamman Rucker, Sharon Leal, Da’Vinchi and Armani Greer. Sharon Farber (Brainwashed: Sex-Camera-Power, When Nietzsche Wept, October 8, Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story, They Call Me Sirr) has composed the movie’s original music. The comedy, which follows the couples (first introduced in Perry’s 2007 feature Why Did I Get Married? based on his 2003 play) as they reunite in celebration as Marcus and Angela’s daughter prepares to tie the knot, will bee available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
Premiering on Thursday, September 10, is the Canadian Netflix original series Crew Girl developed by Vivian Lin & Morwyn Brebner and starring Miku Martineau, Sam Braun, Kyle Clark, Jessica Paré, Jude Wilson, Thomas Cadrot, Connor Paton, Sage Linder, Olga Petsa and Riley Davis.
