Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the animated sequel How to Train Your Dragon 2 directed by Dean DeBlois and featuring the voices of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, T.J. Miller and Kristen Wiig. John Powell (The Bourne Trilogy, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Rio) has composed the film’s original music. Relativity Music Group has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music, as well as the original song Where No One Goes by Jónsi. Also opening wide is the action comedy sequel 22 Jump Street directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller and stars Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, Ice Cube, Peter Stormare, Craig Roberts, Amber Stevens, Jillian Bell and Wyatt Russell. The film’s original score is composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (The Lego Movie, The Royal Tenenbaums, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs). Casablanca Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the film by Angel Haze feat.
