Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller Soulm8te. The album features the film’s original music composed by Anthony Willis (Wuthering Heights, Saltburn, M3GAN, Promising Young Woman, How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming, Violent Ends, Newborn). Soulm8te is written and directed by Kate Dolan and stars Lily Sullivan, David Rysdahl, Claudia Doumit, Arty Froushan, Elijah Cook, Emma Ramos, Jon Tarcy, Mara Huf, Isabelle Bonfrer and Ossian Perret. The movie, which is a spinoff to 2022’s hit feature M3GAN, follows a mourning engineer who gets tasked with testing a ruthless tech giant’s new AI companion, but when he attempts to program her to be a truly sentient soulmate, she develops dangerous needs of her own. The Blumhouse & Atomic Monster production will be released this Saturday, August 1 on VOD by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
