Nathan Larson has composed the music for the HBO mini-series Show Me a Hero. The 6-parter is created by David Simon (The Wire, Treme) and stars Oscar Isaac, Catherine Keener, Alfred Molina, Winona Ryder, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Bob Balaban, Jim Belushi and Jon Bernthal. Paul Haggis (Crash, The Next Three Days) has directed all episodes. The series based on the 1999 book of the same title by New York Times writer Lisa Belki is set in the 1960s and follows a young mayor of a mid-sized city who is faced with a federal court order to build a small number of low-income housing units in the white neighborhoods of his town. Soundtrack Details Announced for Netflix’s ‘Narcos’

Lakeshore Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Narcos. The album features the show’s original music composed by Pedro Bromfman (RoboCop, Elite Squad). Also included is the main titles song Tuyo performed by Brazilian artist Rodrigo Amarante. La-La Land Records will release the a soundtrack album for the CW hit series The Flash. The album features selections from the show’s original music of the first season composed by Blake Neely (Arrow, Supergirl, The Mentalist, Everwood). The soundtrack will be released physically as a 2-CD set on October 16, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A digital version is expected to be released by WaterTower Music. ABKCO Records has announced a soundtrack album for the indie comedy People Places Things. The album features the film’s original music by Mark Orton (Nebraska, My Old Lady, The Good Girl). Universal Music will release a soundtrack album for Brian Helgeland’s crime drama Legend. The album features selections from the film’s original music composed by Carter Burwell (Fargo, Twilight, True Grit, Being John Malkovich, Carol). The movie is based on the 2009 Argentinian film of the same title, which received the Academy Award in the Best Foreign Language category, and follows an assistant district attorney who is returning to Los Angeles as a team of investigators uncovers new evidence in a 13-year-old case that may finally convict the savage killer of a child.
