The film is directed by Alan Gilsenan and stars Catherine Keener, Hannah Gross, Brendan Coyle, Matt Craven, Chloe Rose and Hanna Schygulla. The movie is based on the last book by Canadian novelist Carol Shields and centers on a writer whose oldest daughter who drops out of college and lands on a Toronto street corner panhandling and speechless.
