The film is directed by Paul Feig (BridesmaidsThe Heat) and stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon, Andy Garcia, Matt Walsh, Michael K. Williams and Chris Hemsworth. Stars of the original GhostbustersBill Murray,Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson will also be appearing in the new version. Feig has also written the screenplay with Katie Dippold (The Heat). The album features the film’s original score composed by Lorne Balfe (Terminator GenisysHomePenguins of MadagascarThe DilemmaMegamind). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 25, and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. The album features the film’s original music composed by Cyrille Aufort (Splice, A Royal Affair, Ombline). The soundtrack will be released overseas on October 16, 2015. Ice and the Sky is directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Luc Jacquet (March of the Penguins) and centers on glaciologist Claude Lorius who in 1957 began his study of Antarctic ice and in the 60s was the first to be concerned by global warming and its consequences for the planet.
