Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the British drama The Lady in the Van. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee George Fenton (Dangerous Liaisons, Groundhog Day, Hitch, Anna and the King). Also included are the classical pieces featured in the movie by Frederic Chopin and Franz Schubert. The soundtrack will be released overseas on November 6, 2015 and in the U.S. on December 11. Anne Dudley is composing the music for the upcoming British drama Away. The film is directed by David Blair (Best Laid Plans) and stars Timothy Spall and Juno Temple. The movie is set in the North English seaside town of Blackpool and follows a widower who saves an orphan on the run from a drug dealer, sparking an unlikely friendship. Premiering tonight is the new ABC drama Quantico created by Joshua Safran and starring Priyanka Chopra, Jake McLaughlin, Aunjanue Ellis, Yasmine Al Massri, Johanna Braddy, Tate Ellington and Graham Rogers. The show’s original music is composed by Joel J. Richard (John Wick, The Andromeda Strain, Ravenswood). Parker book series follows Stone as he investigates another murder in Boston. Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the animated sequel Hotel Transylvania 2 directed by Genndy Tartakovsky and featuring the voices of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Fran Drescher, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon, David Spade, Keegan-Michael Key and Mel Brooks. The film’s original music is composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (The Lego Movie, 21/22 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Royal Tenenbaums) who previously scored 2012’s first part in the series. The title song for the 24th Bond movie Spectre was released today. The song entitled Writing’s on the Wall is performed by Sam Smith and is now available to download as a single on iTunes. Complete ‘The Amityville Horror’ and ‘Cool World’ Soundtracks Announced

Quartet Records has announced the world premiere release of the complete score for the 1979 horror thriller The Amityville Horror directed by Stuart Rosenberg and starring James Bronlin, Margot Kidder and Rod Steiger. The film’s original music is composed and conducted by Lalo Schifrin (Mission: Impossible, Bullit, Enter the Dragon, Rush Hour). The soundtrack features the complete score from the MGM production in mono on one disc and the surviving stereo tracks, as well as a number of bonus tracks on the second disc.
