Mandy Hoffman is reteaming with director Azazel Jacobs on the upcoming indie comedy The Lovers. The film is written and directed by Jacobs and stars Debra Winger, Tracy Letts, Aidan Gillen, Melora Walters, Tyler Ross and Jessica Sula. The movie follows a long-married couple whose romantic spark dwindles in the midst of their respective affair. However, when they sit down to call it quits, they find themselves suddenly and unexpectedly falling back in love again. Ben LeClair (Upstream Color, Year of the Dog) and Chris Stinson are producing the project. Frank Ilfman has signed on to score the upcoming supernatural thriller Ghost Stories. The film is written and directed by Jeremy Dyson (The League of Gentlemen) & actor Andy Nyman and stars Martin Freeman, Paul Whitehouse, Alex Lawther and Amy Doyle. The movie follows an arch sceptic professor who embarks upon a terror filled quest, when he stumbles across a long lost file containing details of three cases of inexplicable ‘hauntings’.
