Opening nationwide this week is Pixar’s animated feature Coco directed by Lee Unkrich & Adrian Molina and featuring the voices of Gael García Bernal, Anthony Gonzalez, Benjamin Bratt and Renée Victor. The film’s original score is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Inside Out, The Incredibles). Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez (Frozen), Germaine Franco (Dope) & Molina contributed original songs to the movie. Playing in front of Coco is Disney Animation’s short Olaf’s Frozen Adventure directed by Kevin Deters & Stevie Wermers-Skelton and featuring the voices of Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff. Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man, The Muppets, The Peanuts Movie) and Jeff Morrow (Trolls Holiday) have composed the film’s original score and Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson wrote the original songs. Universal Music will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Man Who Invented Christmas. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, The Good Dinosaur, Capote, Little Miss Sunshine). The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on November 17, 2017. Visit 
Mychael Danna has signed on to score the upcoming biographical drama The Man Who Invented Christmas. The film is directed by Bharat Nalluri (Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day) and stars Dan Stevens as Charles Dickens, Christopher Plummer as Scrooge and Jonathan Pryce as Dicken’s father. The movie is based on Les Standiford’s book and recounts how Charles Dickens created his iconic A Christmas Carol. Susan Coyne (Mozart in the Jungle) wrote the screenplay. Robert Mickelson and Ian Sharples are producing the project.
