Singer/songwriter Peter Salett is composing the music for the upcoming horror thriller Seven in Heaven. The film is written and directed by Chris Eigeman (Turn the River) and stars Travis Tope, Haley Ramm, Gary Cole and Jacinda Barrett. The movie follows two twin siblings who enter a hidden closet and emerge in an alternate reality, where nothing is as it seems and have to find their way back through the closet before they’re trapped in the terrifying version of reality forever. Premiering tomorrow, June 25 is the documentary Believer directed by Don Argott. The film’s original score is composed by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Inception, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dunkirk). The composer also co-wrote original songs for the movie, including the track Skipping Stones co-written by Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds. Premiering on Friday, June 29, is the sci-fi thriller Tau directed by Federico D’ Alessandro and starring Maika Monroe, Ed Skrein. Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Outlander, Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day) has composed the film’s original music. Howard Goodall is currently recording his score for the upcoming action comedy sequel Johnny English Strikes Again. The film is directed by David Kerr and stars Rowan Atkinson, Ben Miller, Olga Kurylenko, Emma Thompson and Jake Lacy. The third installment in the series follows the title character on a mission to find the mastermind hacker of a cyber-attack that reveals the identity of all active undercover agents in Britain. Milan Records has released the full soundtrack album for the National Geographic original series Genius. The album features selections of the show’s original music of the show’s second season composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The Lego Batman Movie, The Crown, Pacific Rim Uprising, Terminator Genysis). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released an EP featuring music from Season 2, as well as Balfe’s score from the first season.
