The full details of the second soundtrack album for Marvel’s Netflix original series Luke Cage have been revealed. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second season composed by Adrian Younge & Ali Shaheed Muhammad, as well as the songs King’s Paradise performed in an episode by Rakim and written by William Griffin, Younge & Muhammad, Love You Forever Right Now performed by Joi who also co-wrote the track with Marlon Cox and Family First co-written and performed by Gabrielle Dennis (Tilda Johnson). Also included are two covers by teen blues guitarist Christone “Kingfish” Ingram. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 22 and will be available to download on Amazon. H. Scott Salinas is reteaming with director Matthew Heineman on the upcoming biographical drama A Private War. The film starring Rosamund Pike, Jamie Dornan, Stanley Tucci and Tom Hollander chronicles the life of the late American-born British war reporter Marie Colvin. Arash Amel (Grace of Monaco, The Titan) wrote the screenplay based on Marie Brenner’s 2012 Vanity Fair story Marie Colvin’s Private War. Heineman is also producing the project with Matthew George (Wind River) for Acacia Entertainment, alongside Basil Iwanyk (The Town, Sicario) for Thunder Road Pictures, Marissa McMahon for Kamala Films and Charlize Theron (Atomic Blonde) for Denver & Delilah. The full details of the soundtrack album for the action thriller Skyscraper have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Steve Jablonsky (Transformers series, The Island, Ender’s Game, Pain & Gain, Desperate Housewives). Also included is the new song Walls by Jamie N Commons. Alexander Bornstein has been tapped to score the upcoming documentary First to the Moon. The film is directed by Paul J. Hildebrandt (Fight for Space) and tells the story of the Apollo 8 mission and the three men that crewed it. The movie features extensive, all new interview footage with Commander Frank Borman, Lunar Module Pilot Bill Anders and Command Module Pilot Jim Lovell and will contain restored footage from NASA, the national archives, and the astronauts themselves. Temporary Residence will release the official soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller Kin. The album features the film’s original music composed by the post-rock band Mogwai (The Returned, Before the Blood). The soundtrack will be released on August 31, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Listen to a track from the album after the jump. The film is directed by Adam Robitel (Insidious: The Last Key, The Taking of Deborah Logan) and stars Deborah Ann Woll, Logan Miller, Taylor Russell, Jessica Sutton and Tyler Labine. The movie revolves around six strangers who find themselves in circumstances beyond their control and must use their wits to survive. Rob Lord (Slipstream) has signed on to score the upcoming comedy drama Troupe Zero. The film is directed by Bert & Bertie and stars Viola Davis, Allison Janney, Mckenna Grace, Mike Epps, Jim Gaffigan, Charlie Shotwell, Edi Patterson and Bella Higginbotham. The Amazon Studios production follows a group of elementary school kids who start a Girl Scout troupe. Lucy Alibar (Beasts of the Southern Wild) wrote the screenplay. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller Black Water. The album features the film’s original music composed by Spencer Creaghan (Nobody Famous). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 29, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Black Water is directed by Pasha Patriki and stars Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren. The movie revolves around a deep-cover operative imprisoned on a CIA submarine who teams with a fellow prisoner to escape the vessel and expose who set him up.
