Intrada Records has announced the world premiere release of the complete soundtrack for the 1984 romantic comedy The Lonely Guy directed Arthur Hiller and starring Steve Martin, Charles Grodin, Judith Ivey, Steve Lawrence and Robyn Douglass. The album features the film’s complete original score composed by Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Planet of the Apes, Patton, Poltergeist), as well as alternate cues and revisions. Also included are the songs from the movie (as featured on the original vinyl soundtrack release) by Max Carl, Winston Ford, Gerard McMahon and America. The mini-series is based on Agatha Christie’s classic 1936 title and stars John Malkovich as Hercule Poirot, Rupert Grint, Andrew Buchan, Eamon Farren, Tara Fitzgerald, Bronwyn James and Freya Mavor. Sarah Phelps (Ordeal by Innocence, The Crimson Field, And Then There Were None) has adapted Christie’s novel for the small screen. ‘Yucatan’ Soundtrack Released

Meliam Music has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish comedy Yucatan. The album features the film’s original music composed by Roque Banos (Don’t Breathe, In the Heart of the Sea, The Machinist, Evil Dead, The Commuter). The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio samples and check out the full track list. A CD version is available to order here. The film is directed by John Chester (Rock Prophecies, Euphoria) and follows the filmmaker and his wife Molly Chester, a culinary writer, who trade city life to start their own farm on a stretch of depleted soil outside Los Angeles. Chester is also producing the project with Sandra Keats who previously served as a co-producer and associate producer on the Beal-scored documentaries Generation Wealth and Last Call at the Oasis. Sade has recorded the original song The Big Unknown for Steve McQueen’s upcoming heist thriller Widows. The track is co-written by herself and Ben Travers who also produced the song with Aaron Taylor Dean. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ludwig Goransson (Black Panther, Creed, Community, Fruitvale Station) and Nathan Matthew David (The Last Word, Angie Tribeca).
