Premiering in the U.S. this Thursday, November 8, is the British mini-series The Cry directed by Glendyn Ivin and starring Jenna Coleman, Ewen Leslie, Stella Gonet, Sophie Kennedy Clark, Asher Keddie and Alex Dimitriades. Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Home, The Lego Batman Movie, The Crown, Genius) has composed the original music for the 4-part series. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Click here for the full album details. The drama premiered a couple of weeks ago in the UK on BBC and will make its U.S. debut on Sundance Now.

Premiering on Friday, November 9, is the Netflix docu-series Medal of Honor executive produced by James Moll, Robert Zemeckis, Jack Rapke, Jacqueline Levine and Brandon Birtell. The show’s original music is composed by Jasha Klebe (Planet Earth II, Diana: In Her Own Words). The series, which tells the true stories of eight recipients of the nation’s highest and most prestigious award: the Medal of Honor, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix. Martin Todsharow and Diego, Nora & Lionel Baldenweg have composed the original music for the upcoming drama Head Full of Honey. The film is directed by Til Schweiger and stars Nick Nolte, Matt Dillon, Emily Mortimer, Sophie Lane Nolte, Jacqueline Bisset and Eric Roberts. The movie is based Schweiger’s 2014 German hit drama Honig im Kopf and follows a girl as she tries to help her grandfather who is suffering from Alzheimer’s, to navigate his forgetfulness. Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:

Expected to top the weekend box office is the biographical drama Bohemian Rhapsody directed by Bryan Singer and starring Rami Malek, Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aiden Gillen, Tom Hollander and Mike Myers. The movie doesn’t feature an original score. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the film performed by Queen. Also opening wide is the fantasy adventure The Nutcracker and the Four Realms directed by Lasse Hallstrom and starring Keira Knigthley, Mackenzie Foy, Misty Copeland, Morgan Freeman and Helen Mirren. James Newton Howard (The Hunger Games, King Kong, The Sixth Sense) has composed the film’s score based on themes from Tchaikovsky’s classic 1892 ballet score. ‘Rampant’ (‘Chang-gwol’) Soundtrack Released

A soundtrack album has been released for the South Korean zombie thriller Rampant (Chang-gwol). The album features the film’s original music composed by Inyoung Park (Pieta, Moebius, The Target). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Rampant is directed by Kim Sung-hoon (Confidential Assignment) and stars Hyun Bin and Jang Dong-gun. The movie is set in the Joseon dynasty and tells the story of a prince who struggles to save Joseon from the rampage of what’s known as the Night Demons. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi western Prospect. The album features the film’s original music composed by Daniel L.K. Caldwell. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, November 9 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Prospect is written and directed by Zeek Earl & Christopher Caldwell and stars Sophie Thatcher, Pedro Pascal, Jay Duplass, Andre Royo, Sheila Vand and Anwan Glover. Hailee Steinfeld’s ‘Back to Life’ from ‘Bumblebee’ Released

Republic Records has released the original song Back to Life from the soundtrack for the Transformers spin-off Bumblebee. The track is performed by Hailee Steinfeld who also stars in the movie.Jorgen Odegard produced and co-wrote the song with Michael Pollack, Josh Gudwin and Kennedy Lykken. The song is now available to download as a digital single on Amazon. Also listen to the full track after the jump. Bumblebee is directed by Travis Knight and also stars John Cena, Stephen Schneider and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. The action adventure scored by Dario Marianelli will be released in theaters nationwide on December 21 by Paramount Pictures. Lionsgate Records has released a score album for the ABC and CMT drama Nashville. The album features the original score from the series composed by Emmy Award winner W.G. Snuffy Walden (The West Wing, Friday Night Lights, Felicity, Studio 60 on Sunset Strip) and A. Patrick Rose (Under the Dome, SEAL Team). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon and iTunes, where you can also check out audio samples. Big Machine Records has previously released numerous soundtrack albums featuring the songs from all six seasons of the show.
