Four new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:

Opening in most theaters is the animated feature Missing Link written and directed by Chris Butler and starring Hugh Jackman, Zoe Saldana, Zach Galifianakis, Timothy Olyphant, Emma Thompson, David Walliams, Stephen Fry and Matt Lucas. Carter Burwell (CarolFargoTwilightThree Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) has composed the film’s original score. Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music, as well an original end credits song by The Walkmen’s Walter Martin. Click here for the full album details.

Also opening wide is the new film adaptation of Hellboy directed by Neil Marshall and starring David Harbour, Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, Sasha Lane, Daniel Dae Kim and Penelope Mitchell. The film’s original music is composed by  Benjamin Wallfisch (ItShazam!Blade Runner 2049Hidden Figures). Also opening in theaters nationwide this week is the comedy Little directed by Tina Gordon and starring Regina Hall, Issa Rae and Marsai Martin. Germaine Franco (TagDopeVida) has composed the film’s original score. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as a new song by Chloe x Halle, as well as tracks by Lai Burger, Janelle Monáe feat. The final wide release of the week is the romantic drama After directed by Jenny Gage and starring Josephine Langford, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Selma Blair, Inanna Sarkis, Shane Paul McGhie, Pia Mia, Dylan Arnold, Khadijha Red Thunder, Samuel Larsen and Jennifer Beals. The film’s original music is composed by Justin Burnett (Dungeons & DragonsGetaway). No word on a soundtrack release. Opening in limited release is the drama Teen Spirit written and directed by Max Minghella and starring Elle Fanning, Rebecca Hall, Zlatko Buric and Agnieszka Grochowska. Interscope Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie performed by Fanning, including a new track written by by Carly Rae Jepsen & Jack Antonoff, as well as songs by No Doubt,Grimes and Major Lazer feat. Also opening in limited release is the psychological thriller Stockholm written and directed by Robert Budreau and starring Ethan Hawke, Noomi Rapace, Mark Strong, Christopher Heyerdahl, Bea Santos and Thorbjorn Harr. Steve London (Born to Be Blue) has composed the film’s original music. Opening in select U.S. theaters following a release overseas last year is the biblical drama Mary Magdalene directed by Garth Davis and starring Rooney Mara, Joaquin Phoenix, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Tahar Rahim. The film’s original music is composed by Hildur Guðnadóttir (Sicario: Day of the SoldadoJoker) and Jóhann Jóhannsson (ArrivalThe Theory of EverythingSicarioPrisoners). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score. Another limited release this week is the musical drama Her Smell directed by Alex Ross Perry and starring. Keegan DeWitt (Hearts Beat Loud, I’ll See You in My Dreams, The Hero, Divorce) has composed the film’s original score and Alicia Bognanno & Anika Pyle have written the original movie’ songs. No soundtrack release has been announced yet. Also opening in limited release is the thriller Crypto directed by John Stalberg Jr. and starring Beau Knapp, Alexis Bledel, Luke Hemsworth, Jeremie Harris, Jill Hennessy, Malaya Rivera Drew, Vincent Kartheiser and Kurt Russell. The film’s original music is composed by Nima Fakhrara (The Signal, Detroit: Become Human, The Pyramid). No word yet on a soundtrack release. Also opening in select U.S. cities is the French drama Girls of the Sun (Les filles du soleil) written and directed by Eva Husson and starring Golshifteh Farahani and Emmanuelle Bercot. Singer/songwriter Morgan Kibby (Bang Gang (A Modern Love Story)) has composed the film’s original music. True Velvet Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the score earlier this year.
